I love this store. I am from the west coast, but usually make the pilgrimage to Provincetown every summer and always make it a point to stop at this store. All the reviews are spot on about service, quality and inventory. The only complaint is that they don’t have a website where I could purchase items. Won’t be in Provincetown this summery. :(

I visit Ptown from NYC a couple of times a year, and Item is always at the top of my list of places to visit. Everything they have is this great modern beachy style that looks amazing on vacation there as well as back home. As everyone has said here, the service is friendly and helpful without being annoying. Mark always helps find something that looks good on me that I wouldn’t have picked out for myself. I still have this great hoodie that he suggested years ago that reminds me of Ptown everytime I put it on. Of course, this is all secondary to the fact that I always see the hottest guys in Item. Seriously, just go there and see what I mean.

Going to ITEM redefines one stop shopping. Its proprietor has scoured the world for the best boutique brands that have amazing details, great cuts and silhouettes that flatter all of us! We always want something that is better, special and different and ITEM delivers. Additionally, the staff are great personal shoppers that point out items and accessories that end up looking amazing on all of us. If you like to shop, go to ITEM first, you will never regret it! It’s on Commercial Street, right next to the Human Rights Campaign store.

Every summer my partner and I make a trip or two to Provincetown. ITEM is a men’s clothing boutique and is hands down my go-​to place for the latest trends and summer fashion. The staff is always helpful and courteous not to mention you can make a mess trying to find a size and the piles of clothing magically get folded in a blink of the eye… magical! As we plan our next trip to P-​Town, I’m definitely leaving some room in the old suitcase for some new purchases from ITEM!
