Board of Provo

Super friendly service. They gave me a GREAT deal on my longboard, and were very helpful in giving me pointers for the best board for what I wanted. Super great.

This shop is legit! I make sure to hit up Board of Provo when ever I’m in Utah Co. I didn’t expect to see over 7000 sq feet of ski, board and skate product, on 2 levels! I would say it’s a «core shop» that’s upscale! Everything is organized and you will find the high end «restricted» Burton stuff your looking for. The guys working the shop know their stuff, they all get plenty of days on the mountain, and John the owner is always on hand. He started the shop over 10 years ago & he’s a super helpful, humble dude. They want to help you out unlike some of the other shops, they will price match. I found a Burton hat that I was going to buy online cause nobody had it, & some other killer Burton gear that I’ve never seen. So even if your in SLC, take 30 min & go check it out, you will be stoked, and they won’t «bro» you! Like some of the other «core» shops!

In town visiting kids. Brought a slow longboard with us. Board of Provo was recommended after making a few calls. They were so helpful! Took our board and two demo boards into the parking lot to compare. Helped us figure out we needed better wheels and bearing lube. We purchased the wheels and lube and they installed with new hardware, tightened the trucks, etc. What a difference! Longboard runs great now. This kind of service is rare these days, and the prices are cheaper than eBay (we checked).

The guys that work here are super chill and will give you a good deal. I wasn’t going to buy anything, but found a pretty sick Nixon leather jacket that I really liked. I was indecisive and the manager offered me a discount that sealed the deal. When I got home I looked up the same jacket online and I got it for a better price there, at a local store. Cool guys that are willing to meet your needs.

Much better than Zumies which is your other choice for your board needs in the Provo area. If you want to travel to Orem you can also get a Vans and Industrial. The staff is nice and they have a great selection of gear. This is my choice for local board shop in Provo.
