Normally I love Carl’s Jr. The one in St. George has always been great. This Provo location seems to have very unhappy workers. I have gone about 4 times and it has been an unpleasant experience each time, both in attitude and accuracy. The second to last time I went they gave me a chicken sandwich instead of the fish sandwich I ordered. The last time I went they gave me a Diet Coke instead of the Diet Dr. Pepper I ordered. No biggie, mistakes happen. When I nicely asked the young man if he would change it for the Diet Dr. Pepper he took it from me angrily without saying a word. He was shaking his head back and forth in anger as he filled my drink.

The western bacon burger is the best. Curley fries and a soft drink make it a meal that screams west coast California louder than all others. You will love Carl’s jr.

The new Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich is meh. Bread slices were not crisp enough… pretty mushy; too much american cheese; not enough egg; small round of sausage. Did not hit the spot. I bought two on the 2:1 coupon, but threw the second one away. The loaded breakfast biscuit, flaky and buttery, for the same price is way way better.

I used to really like Carl’s Jr. It was one of my favorite burger places to go when I was in a hurry. But since they’ve come out with their pornographic ads, I’ve lost my appetite. If they think sex is needed to sell their burgers, why should I trust in the quality of their food? Women are more than meat. #cutthecarls

When it comes to fast food burgers, I don’t understand why anyone still goes to McDonald’s or Burger King when there’s a Carl’s Jr. in town. The food it tons better, and not really any more expensive than the other places. There isn’t anything on the Carl’s Jr. menu that isn’t good.

I come here so much they could call me Carl Sr. There was a cute girl at this location I almost asked out on a date. Then I saw she was blinged on the ring. Got a breakfast instead.

It’s clean, and that’s important to me. The food is pretty good too. I’m not a giant fan of the fries, but the burgers are good.

This is my default burger restaurant when I’m in the area, and one of the only chain-type restaurants that I patronize. Even the 99 cent menu has good-sized tasty burgers, and the regular burgers are quite tasty, too. You may call me a hypocrite for writing a burning review of McDonald’s and then turning around and supporting a different buger chain(I guess it’s one of my own guilty brand-loyalty pleasures), but I believe there is a difference. For one, Carl’s isn’t taking over the world. They have locations in 13 states and two other countries.(Does that mean they’re noble, or that they’re just not as good at business as the big M? Hmmm…) Also, they don’t have any eerie global-monopoly-type relationships with other frighteningly-close-to-world-domination companies like Disney and Wal-Mart. Third, they don’t really put up any pretenses about what they do. They make food. Fatty food. If you eat a lot of it, you’ll get fat. Simple as that. Still, don’t take this as a glowing declaration of love for all things Carl’s. I merely gave it four stars on a basis compared to other fast food places. We’re just friends.
