I have always enjoyed the personal service I’ve received from Ryan. They have always sold me the right fertilizer to make my lawn look great! I had my mower repaired there last summer and it worked great all summer! Whenever I have had an issue Ryan has resolved it and been more than fair. If you ever have an issue have Ryan help you, he’ll resolve it, I have no doubt.

When you have questions about why your lawn is turning colors, you won’t get an answer at a big box store. However, Carpenter Seed has been around 100 years and they can tell you that lawn grubs are common in our area, what time of year they hatch, and will sell you something that will kill them.(I tried all of the ineffective stuff the big box stores sell, but Carpenter Seed had the stuff that worked.) The first reviewer said the service shop wasn’t helpful. The other day I was in there and asked about what type of oil I needed for my lawnmower. Two guys answered the question. I asked about oil for my snow blower and they told me what kind I would need and explained why. They don’t sell oil, but they took the time to answer my questions and told me to stop by an auto-parts store and get the oil there. I have shopped there for the past several years, probably a couple of times a year. It is nice to have somewhere to go and ask questions and get real answers.

Because of the rude grumpy old guy in service shop and his over priced/below average quality of maintenance service, I have resolved to never darken the doorway of his shop again. It just seems like customers should be valued instead of seeming a nuisance… My story is more involved than just my opinion above… Suffice it to say… One visit here and you’ll have your own bad experience story to share.
