Love, love hidden clipper. Was a great find my sophomore year(2007) and I have been going back ever since. Looks a little run down, but don’t let that scare you. Prices are amazing too!

Disclaimer: I didn’t actually get my hair cut here, so I could be completely missing out on a fabulous stylist, but in my book, the experience is half the package so that’s why I’m rating this so low. I made a same day appointment for this tiny little salon. I knew the place from walking by it for a semester when I lived in the area a couple years ago. I knew it was sketchy looking, which I’m really fine with since I didn’t want to pay top dollar for a glitzy place, but I was a little surprised at the uncleanliness. Dirty floors, grungy seating, and the back door was open to a scuzzy looking supply room. I showed up on time and waited about 10 min for the sole employee to finish another haircut before deciding I just didn’t want to do it. The place is tiny– its really hard to ignore someone– but I barely caught a hi out of her. Just so awkward. I decided to just leave instead of risking it when my first impressions were so iffy, so I didn’t get my hair cut there. Hidden Clipper could benefit from a deep clean, a simple paint job, a little furniture rearranging so the set up for waiting clients isn’t so awkward, and just a couple more smiles on their employees’ faces.

They do an awesome job at The Hidden Clipper. I have been going since my freshman year, 2000 – 2001 and have never once had a bad haircut. They are $ 10 for guys and with the cards, you’ll get your 10th haircut free. Give it a shot, because this place beats the crud out of Great Clips and the such…
