You pay a lot, and sometimes I feel like it isn’t worth it. I am in the privates and the remodeling is very nice. Although for every month I’m here I always feel like I am getting pinched for every ounce of money I have. Every month you have a communications fee, which does make sense. TV is shoddy, channels are lacking, and wifi can be alright. $ 20 per monthX6 tenants = enough for Google Fiber. I feel like that’s what we should do, if we have to pay for things. The units themselves, the remodeled private rooms, are nice. Ceiling fans, washer and dryer in unit and 2 fridges! Very nice to have, especially with the new tile and granite countertops. Maintenance Is slow, and often takes more than a week to address problems, even with safety. Parking is horrid and do not cut a deal for those only staying for F/W. Stalls are VERY small, so don’t bring a nice car unless you want to get it dinged. If you’re going to park, go to the back stalls. Those are normal sized. Office staff is nice, but can be lazy. They made our entire apartment move apartments and didn’t compensate us, for having to move a month later. We asked in advance if we could just stay in the apartment we moved in, but made very little effort to try to keep us in there and save us until the last day. Made it very hectic and stressful for my entire apartment. A few simple phone calls a week before would have saved us from headache. They had the numbers, but the best they could do was«we can send them an email». For being the friendliest, I feel like they’re not on top of their resident satisfaction game. The wards are very social and there is usually someone doing something every day and time of the month. Edit: 3⁄12 After reviewing the contract that I signed, they were supposed to pay my entire apartment $ 40 per person who moved when they relocated us. I called and it took about a week to get to mediation, though BYU. This is NOT okay. I always get the feeling that KH is trying to take money and hold onto it. I feel that they do not care about those who pay and the value of the dollar to us, rather they just care about doing what they think they can do rather than taking care of us. This definitely leaves a unpleasant taste in my mouth and I will NOT recommend them to anybody. I hope they see this and change a few things. If they really care about is they wouldn’t be so against and throw up hoops when they need to satisfy a request. Also, I have noticed that they pay $ 5 per parking sticker at the end of winter semester but while I was reading their contract it states $ 10. Again, another example to short change us.

Look, this is important so let me break it down for you: Social: You would have to stay in your bed with your covers over your face to not be social here. People flock to the central hang out spots like the fire pits, volleyball and basketball courts, and the huge grass field. You won’t find amenities like this anywhere else in an apartment complex in Provo. You basically live at a park here with all the grass that there is. Go to school and show dad you’re not a fool, then come home and party all night. Parking: Not great, but it’s okay. It’s not great anywhere in Provo. Maintenance: They have a full-time maintenance crew and groundskeeper. Rodolfo does all the gardening and is probably the friendliest human being alive on Earth. Other amenities: Yo there’s a fire pit/grass fields/volleyball sand court. Pay rent online. My experience: Everyone I’ve ever talked to that has left King Henry regrets leaving, even the folks that ran off to the Village right after it opened. With the private and shared room apartment layouts, you get a wider range of ages and types at King Henry than anywhere else. It’s a perfect balance of awesome and down-to-earth people. They don’t nickel and dime you here, just do your monthly cleaning check and don’t pay rent late(not a problem since you can pay online). That’s it. It’s only rent +$ 20 internet/TV fee and you pay power + gas. This is a lot better than some horror stories I hear about other properties. **update** They just remodeled the private room apartments with granite countertops, two fridges, ceiling fans, and really good lighting. It’s obvious that the owners aren’t going to ever let King Henry go to the dumps like many other properties in Provo. Two refrigerators, tho.
