Few things are better than the big grin and sigh while stretching out and relaxing in your comfy commuter seat as you sail past the I-15 debacle set on your destination. The decision to come to Provo was one of your finest, UTA. You are serving a needy population very well. FrontRunner is simply awesome. It’s so affordable for Wasatch Front runs all the way North to Pleasant View. In case you don’t know where that is — like me — it’s just North of Ogden. Provo’s parking lot is huge; one of the largest in the state I believe. Even considering the growing number of riders departing from Provo, I’ve never seen the lot full. People watching is one of the best aspects of public transportation in general. FrontRunner is certainly no exception. You can nab yourself a front row seat to an impressive selection of some of Utah’s best cheap entertainment. There are quite a few stops along the I-15 corridor and they all seem to be relatively well appointed and maintained. I wouldn’t want to really hang out at many of them by myself in the evening simply because they do seem to be a hangout for the homeless faction. The Provo stop is, again, no exception. UTA makes it about as easy as it gets to zip up and down the Wasatch Front. For regular commuters I can’t imagine not taking advantage of it. I’m a big fan of FrontRunner. Plus, the trains have bathrooms, free wifi and charging stations at seats with tables. Score.
