This place rocks!!! It kicks the color out of Color Me Mine(to say it in a nice way). You not only color your items but you get to make it. There’s so many molds to choose from. David is so helpful and knowledgeable in which essential oils pair well together. The first time my husband, teenage son and I came to Soap Factory was in Nov 2015 at their old location on Freedom Blvd. The new location is far better. Not to seem strange but you need to check out the unique bathroom sink.

I love this place! A great way to spend time with friends, affordable, and creative! One of my favorite things to do in Provo and the workers are awesome!

My family went here on Saturday for a fun activity. We were the only ones in the store and David, the owner was very attentive to our needs. He let us try samples of sugar/salt scrubs and was very generous. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! He shared interesting information about his soaps as well as how pioneers made soap(eeew!). The kids made soaps and they helped my husband and I make chocolates. They had a lot of fun and love their soaps! The chocolate was so good that we ate it all before we left! That being said, I am not sure we will return very often, as it was an expensive family outing for us. I realize that their pricing is the way it is due to their high quality products, but we typically spend less for family dates. If you’ve got an hour or so and some money to burn, this place is fun! The kids loved it and were able to be creative in a new and different way.

I wish they had one of these in San Diego! Definitely a MUST do if your ever visiting Provo Utah. Me and my boyfriend had such a blast making our personalized soap bars with all different kinds of designs, smells, ingredients, and colors. The gentlemen helping us walked us through all the details and was very friendly and helpful! This place is such a cool idea and was so fun. We will be back!

The idea is awesome and picking out molds was the best part for the kids BUT… the guys that work there have no personality and no enthusiasm! Not great instructions on how to keep the mix-ins from settling at the bottom! A little explanation on what the soap is made of and how to make it awesome would be been a great experience especially for the kids! The employees need a lesson in customer service and making their customers have a fun experience!

My family had a wonderful experience today. I brought my adult children and young grandchildren and it was a really fun time for each of us. The quality of the materials is excellent and a good value. David, the owner, and his brother are great at sharing information about their products and how to customize what we were hoping to create. We look forward to returning again.

Love the look and atmosphere! My husband and I had an amazing experience! The staff was very helpful and very informative with all questions we had and making sure we had all the things we needed for our experience. We chose to make bath salts and bath fizzy. We loved the different ways to customize with their all natural and pure oils. They also had mineral paints to give it color! Very clean and vibrant store. We will be coming back! David the owner is a very awesome nice guy!

Fun place for a date or for the family. I’ve been in when the place was empty as well as pretty full, and the experience was the same. David, the owner, was super helpful when I struggled to choose scents and mix-ins for my soap. $ 5 lab fee felt high when I first walked in, but I’m happy paying that after, I figure i used at least that much in essential oil, mixins and the mess I made. lol Prepare to spend an hour or more in the store. Soap takes a while to set and I spent a good 15 minutes just choosing a mold, color, scent and mixins.
