Very friendly staff and fast. Plenty of seats and tables. The Internet is a bit on the slow side.

I have lived in Prunedale for the past roughly 15 years, and I regulared the smaller starbucks on a pretty much daily basis for most all of those 15 years. When they moved to the new location and got lots more staff the whole store went down! Now the baristas are rude, and I dont mean just not super polite and nice… I mean RUDE! The quality of the drinks have plummeted due to poor training. At this store I am not exaggerating to say 1 or 2 out of 10 drinks is decent. Im not sure if i have gotten one yet that I would consider really good. And dont try to ask them to remake your $ 5 cup of coffee. They will roll their eyes and do it begrugendly while openly mocking you in front of you. The final straw was about a month ago when on a normal Saturday morning it took me 45 minutes to get in and out of the store making me late to work. After waiting 20+ minutes for my drink after ordering, that day I asked if they missed it, and the barista rolled her eyes at me and walked into the back without saying anything to me. A different barista then made my drink and gave it to me. When the original barista came back out she never looked at me or said a word. This is the consistently WORST starbucks I have ever been too, and they have lost a customer of 15 years due to their lack of care.(PS the internet here also sucks, I clocked it at 0.82 mbps. For non tech people that is slower than dial up). NEVERCOMEHERE.

One of the worse Starbucks I have been too. I have been to hundreds of Starbucks, but this one is one of the worst run or trained staff I have been to. The policies are definitely not customer friendly. Today, I went through the drive through and the person had difficulty understanding my order. When I went to the window, I asked her if she would take my empty Starbucks venti cup to dispose off. She stated we cannot take trash and I stated this store had done it before. She had no answer and handed my order and dismissed me. They have lost me as a customer — and I live nearby. I work in Monterey and Carmel — I have never been treated this way. What a pity, when they were smaller, they were a place for locals. Now it is a big cold unfriendly Starbucks. James Nakashima (831) 776‑4719

This place is okay, but the coffee tastes low-grade and it is loud as can be, to anyone who really wants some good coffee at a lower price go to coffee lounge in mini prunetree center off San Miguel canyon road it’s local and has great coffee and nice staff.

Was there this morning around 830 ordered my usual venti cold brew double shot espresso and a double smoked bacon. I tried to wait as long as I can for it but 20 minutes was just way to long, on a busy day it takes 5 minutes? somethings wrong there… the tip was not earned today, bad customer service

Since the have moved to their new store I have had the WORST customer service. The Baristas in-store are RUDE! Two of the three times I’ve been there the baristas were rude and unkind. I am so disappointed.

Drinks are great as always! This new staff needs retraining, very unfriendly which is rare at a Starbucks where staff is usually very cheery and happy! There were about 4 girls working and 2 guys. One of the guys, Cristian was actually really nice but the rest of the staff was horrible! Need better service before the customers are lost!

Located next to Safeway in Prune Tree Shopping center. Good pitstop on the way to Monterey. A small location with a few tables outside. At&t wireless. Men’s restroom on the left. Women’s on the right behind the display. Typical Starbucks & service.

I had a very disappointing experience in this location! Having missed my exit for my regular location, I was exciting to see this Starbucks off the freeway. I immediately pulled over to get my coffee, when I walked in the cashier was ringing an order. When she was finished, I happily said hello, which was return with«she’ll help you» while she guested to a barista who was cleaning or making something behind her. Clearly the other barista was already in the middle of something with her back to me. The cashier moved to stand in front of coffee maker doing nothing and continued to look at and then back to the other barista who had no idea I was even there. I am really disappointed in the service of the cashier. So rude! I left upset and without my morning coffee! I went to Mc D’s.

Convent stop when driving to Monterey for the weekend with all the standard fare. Lacks a bit of professional baristas though as they are locals in an outskirts community on the edge of the farm belt running through the central bless of the state. Small shop fits the smaller cliental population in the area.

It’s a decent spot. Every Starbucks is different. They make tasty drinks but service is a little off. Don’t expect a ton of smiles but service moves fast so that’s prob why. They have indoor and outdoor seating and also tons of parking since they are next to a supermarket. Full stock in the food dept and also tons of stuff to buy like cups and crap.

This is one of the most unprofessional Starbucks that I’ve ever been too!!! It seems to be ran by a bunch of rude people that based on their actions DONOTCAREABOUTCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! What I noticed today 3÷5÷15 — Employee of the month — Ashley — OMG who picks these and what are they based on, THIS woman along with another named Amanda — ARETHERUDESTBARISTAS out of all of them except for the manager who NEVER looks HAPPY anyway. To me it seems the issue is probably management and hiring a slew of young individuals whose hormones seem to rule the way they treat their customers!!! Another issue I’ve encountered which goes along with RUDE, one day I placed my order and being behind SOMANY people, I ran to Safeway really quick to buy dogfood and came back well within 10 min! I waited for my drink, they saw me and nobody said ANYTHING, my drink doesn’t come so I ask Ashley, who was the barista that day about my drinks. She rudely without looking me in the eyes while we were talking says, «Oh, we threw them away because you weren’t here.» Really! I’ve done this SOOO many times and NOBODY has ever thrown my drinks away except for ASHLEY! AND I’ve seen many people go outside that little place and chat for much longer periods of time, than I was gone, BEFORE picking up their drinks. Their drinks didn’t get thrown away! Why? Did I do something? The only thing I was doing EVERYDAY was coming to that Starbucks and spending over $ 15 on coffee everytime if not more!!! So why would such a place want to throw my business out the door when they see me there EVERYDAY!!! So she remakes my drink AFTER like 10 other drinks, so I had to wait ~ 20 min to actually have my drinks in hand. After I picked my drinks up, I went and talked to another barista who seemed the most available to talk, her name tag said Amanda. I ask Amanda, why do you throw drinks away and if you do throw drinks away when customers are not here, shouldn’t you notify us by posting a sign so we KNOW? I told her I ended up waiting OVER30 min for my drinks. Her response in a very defensive and ELEVATED voice, «Because they don’t taste good if you let them sit there.» Hmmm… Okay Amanda and your fellow Starbucks cohorts that DONOTVALUE loyal customers I guess I have no choice but to accept THAT explanation… My advice to these women is quit Starbucks and go to college. learn something a
