The place to eat. Service was great. Food was tasty. When we’re passing by on vacation again, I’d drive out of my way to eat here.

Traveling between Stilwell, KS and Dallas on a Saturday, we hit Pryor, OK about lunch time. Saw Goldie’s and decided to stretch our legs and grab some lunch at a «local» place rather than a chain joint. We’re glad we did! Goldie’s isn’t a super-fancy place, it’s simply and tastefully decorated, and most importantly a clean place. Staff was friendly — as other reviewers had noted — most seemed to be younger kids in a first summer job — which is great to see kids working these days. Our server did a good job, she was prompt, courteous and cheerful. We had burgers, chicken and salads. Food was served promptly, hot things hot, cold things cold — and prepared as it should be. Everything tasted great. Kudos to the kitchen — nice job. The pickle bar is a novelty that we had fun with — not something you run across every day, but hey — every place needs to be world-famous for something — why not a pickle-bar? Talked a bit with Tim, one of the owners — a nice guy who’s working hard to have a successful business that serves good food — in our opinion he’s doing a good job of it … we will stop in for a bite next time we’re through Pryor. See you there — Cruiser

My family and I stopped by on our way through Pryor. We always enjoyed eating at the Goldies in Claremore, but over the years it’s changed hands and has not been that good. Some of our friends suggested this one. I ordered beef stew, I got Cambell’s beef soup! Canned soup?! The kids plates were thrown together and the presentation was sloppy. The restaurant is also dank and dirty, trust your eyes before your stomach pays! No one ate, my husband paid, the only thing they took off was the canned soup. Wouldn’t go there again ever!

Stopped on the way back to Texas after visiting family over thanksgiving. This was fast, hot, good and inexpensive. Fancy? No. Sophisticated? No. But get out of the car in a road trip and stretch your legs. Good food for a good price.

We should have walked away — — - because it is sure a mystery how this place got a 4-star rating from the 8 people who posted reviews. You can get a better sandwich from a gas station, where even though the rest rooms might need to be cleaned they would be far better than the rest rooms at Goldies. The lack of cleanliness reflected quite accurately as to the quality of the meal.

I stopped here during rocklahoma. The place didn’t reinvent the wheel as far as menus go, but the food, service and prices were all good. Everyone liked what they had. I recommend this as a place to eat in Pryor.

Went into Goldie’s for dinner with my wife and she found a cockroach in her side salad. Had to argue with the manager not to charge me for my wife’s dinner after she couldn’t eat it.

If you ever find yourself in Pryor. .. this place is a good spot to grab a bite. The pickle bar was hilarious. .. at first, but I once I tried a few of the delicacies I ended up with more vinegar running through my veins than actual blood. I love pickles. Anyways, this place would top the chats if the décor was better, but it’s hard to blame a small town place for not shelling out tons of cash on «atmosphere». The service was fine. .. But the highlight, the HIGHLIGHT of my meal was the Angel fire chicken sandwich I ordered. I eat and cook a lot of chicken and this was literally the best cooked chicken breast I’ve ever had! It was so tender and juicy — well flavored. .. Just great! Not to mention the green pepper on my burger was grilled and had a nice smokey flavor. The cheddar cheese was completely melted and awsome. The fries were nice and crispy. A gem!. .. But don’t expect a red carpet.

My husband and I stopped by here for an early Sunday dinner. We had the poppers for an appetizer and they were good, but nothing special. The pickle bar, on the other hand, made the whole trip worth it. The bread and butter pickles were amazing. We had 3 small bowls full between us. My husband had the sirloin. Not only was it surprisingly juicy and tender, but the portion was more than enough. The sides were just average. I had the grilled chicken salad which was good as well, nothing to write home about. Another star of the night was the ranch dressing. It tastes homemade and beckoned for all things to be dipped into it. The service was also good. We will definitely go back the next time we’re in the area and I’ll remember to get the sirloin myself.

We found this wonderful place through Unilocal. When we first saw it, the parking lot was full! We went a little later to avoid the crowd. The place is authentically local! They have amazing burgers, hamburger steak dinners and chicken dinners!!! The fries are wonderfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was very fast and efficient. It is unusual that our whole party finds a location amazing… and this place did. If you are in the area, give this place a try!

After eating at one too many chain restaurants on a cross-country road trip, with the help of the Unilocal app, I decided to try something of the local Oklahoma flavors. Enter Goldies Patio Grill. Honestly, unless it is hiding in the back somewhere, I’m not sure where the«patio» part comes into play, but you could certainly smell the grill once you walked in. The first thing I noticed when walking in was that these folks crank up the air conditioning to be quite chilly, even for a moderately warm April afternoon. It felt great, as grilling ourselves in the sun on the interstate was quite, well, warming. Also of note, it seemed like the entire staff was made up of high schoolers. On the exterior of the building there was signage supporting the local high school’s football team, so it appears the owners are trying to keep the town’s kids employed. Good for them, as this looks like an otherwise sleepy little place! The girl that served us did so quickly, if in an a bit matter-of-fact manner. She eventually teased me as I was paying the tab, so she wasn’t what you’d call icy, but rather more reserved. She looked like a freshman, so I’ll cut her some slack for inexperience, as this is likely her first job. No kidding, the entire restaurant team was made up of teenagers, unless a manager was hiding in the back! As for the food, the prices were very reasonable. Most of the lunch and dinner items were about $ 8-$ 11. I ordered the Hickory and Cheddar burger which was cooked well-done as requested, but not dried out. It was excellent! The side salad which accompanied it was small, plus the Italian dressing they used on it tasted like it came out of a Kraft bottle. Meh on that count. My sister ordered a sirloin steak which was very juicy and tender. I tried a bite and can certify the excellence of whomever grilled it. The fries which were paired with it were over-cooked and crispy, but not inedible. As for the slice of bread, they slathered so much butter on it that you for certain know that your cardiologist isn’t going out of business anytime soon. The main courses were excellent, the sides left something to be desired. Make sure to request they go easy on the butter if you order anything with toast and request them to pull the fries sooner. Would have liked to give this place five stars, but will issue them a solid four instead.

Top tier food in this specific location. Great service and clean. It is definitely a great place to get a good meal. This location actually cares what it serves!
