Came to Pueblo to visit a friend and found this surprisingly good small restaurant. My friend and I got 2 Italian sausage sandwiches with fries to go. Service was great while we were waiting. The guy was genuine and funny. Aside from that, mustard and the peppers with the sandwiches was a great combination. Probably one of the best local restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Service is good. The food is local style food so if you want to try a taste of pueblo stop by this place. I’m not a native sooo I thought it was pretty good… I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement to love the passkey in order to live here.

I don’t know what all the fuss is! Heard about this place from a friend. Went for their famous sausage sandwich. Not much flavor and there is just way too much cheese. Most of the cheese ran off the sandwich and was in the bottom of the basket. At least the fries were fresh. If you are going to drive out to Pueblo to see what all the fuss is, save your gas! I won’t return. I gave it one star for the fact that it was hot. Thanks but no thanks!

We’ve eaten here almost a dozen times and we have yet to receive bad service. My wife, my kid, and I can all agree on this place, which is pretty much unheard of. This location is especially good because they have a better selection than the Passkeys in town, which is good for the family since I always get the Special with swiss. The rest of their food is pretty good too though, or at least that’s what I’ve heard.

Awful customer service. Fries were burned. Made to feel like you are a bother for asking for refills. Grinder was dry. I usually go to the Passkey on Hywy 50 but we had an appointment. Yuk next time we will wait to eat after the appointment, and go where they can cook and have great customer service.

Great service. Friendly faces. Large portions. Fantastic fresh brewed tea. Smiles, clean, tasty food. What more could you ask for?

Pass Key… It’ll do. It’s not fantastic, it’s not amazing. It is a homegrown local favorite. The owners are friendly and the service is good. If grinders are your thing, it’s the only place in town. If not, you’ll be confused as to what the fuss was all about.

First and foremost the reputation of the hometown hot spot preceded itself, which will undoubtedly be the case for most non-Puebloans. I was educated about everything from the rich history of the Pagano family, to the local ingredients(just in case you were wondering, they get their infamous Italian sausage from Franks Meat Market in Blende). Passkey is an institution, it is the on of the crowned-jewels of Pueblo, CO… that tends to build up a huge amount of expectation and anticipation. So how you ask was the food? Well, because of everything previously written I will affirm it is one of the things should and must experience for yourself. The italian sausage sandwiches served with a pepperoncini and a side of pride is definitely worth more than the $ 10 you’ll pay for a big olé piece of hometown comfort food.

I don’t get it. Gross. This is not my cup of tea. The place is dirty and the staff is very inattentive. I was told this is a pueblo tradition. If my attendance and sandwich was the norm then I just do not get it. It was a very unpleasant experience and I will never return. I have a palate and fine taste. That does not mean I am snobbish. This was offensive and foul.
