Sent a bad Unilocal review and Bri stalked me to the place where I was with my friends. She proceeded to berate me for a negative review I had left on Unilocal. She threatened me that I should not show up to a number of places and continued to berate me and threaten my physical safety. Not afraid, I am posting this to show that I do not fear her idle threats.

Really like this place. Excellent food & drinks, friendly service. It actually is a decent place for sunday brunch. Seems like a good place to watch sports, as there are TV’s in the booths. A very popular place, so it can get quite crowded. Definitely worth checking out.

Everything was perfect — the beer, the food, the service and the bread pudding. Absolutely worth s try if you come to Pueblo. Here a week — without a doubt the best meal, drink and time we had.

Shamrock brewing co. Is a neat spot with good beer and good food. There is also a cool skate spot across the street ;)

I was looking for a burger, and this place did hit the spot. The burger was done correctly, and service was good. They do have good selections of Irish inspired pub food, Ruben, fish n chips and such. Unfortunately couldn’t try the beers as I had to go back to work, I will have to try them again to check them out.

Lunch is my favorite here with salad or cheese ale side. Usually wonderful taste and cooked well. Occasionally over busy on a Tues. for buy one get one burgers. My favorite is the Irish nachos. Even fish tacos done right. I here the best beer is the chili infused.

Love this place! Friendly, relaxing pub ambiance with great service. I had the beef boxty — I would come back for that. Sooo good. My husband had the chicken green chili mac. Neither one of us wanted to share.

Wow. The Irish club is unreal. Savory and tender corned beef. Sauerkraut That you cannot see, but that adds the perfect amount of brine to the marble rye. Pub chips were a pleasant surprise. Very good. But the thing that took the cake was Irish red ale made here. Sooo good. It’s like it was made to partner with that sandwich. When all was said and done, the service eclipsed the food and drink. Brie the bartender was amazing.

This used to be one of my favorite places, but it has really gone down hill over the years. Do not go there looking for Irish food. They have done away with most of that. And what is left is not great. The so called Irish nachos are bland unseasoned potato slices that are covered normal nacho toppings, the corned beef and cabbage is so salty that you cannot eat it(it also comes covered in brown mustard) My guess is the mustard is there to mask the extra cup of salt added. The only thing good here is the Beer. This is why they have 2 stars.

Came here on a random weekday day off after working on oh-so-much-fun things like housekeeping, grocery shopping and taxes all day. I felt I deserved a treat, so decided to finally check out Shamrock Brewing. Several of my colleagues had recommended it to me when I first got to Pueblo, but I just hadn’t taken the next step of actually going. It’s easy to find and while it has street parking only, this was not problematic when I arrived around 4pm. Just be mindful of the 1 – 2 hour limit on those spaces in the vicinity of the pub. Walking in gives you the immediate feel of an Irish pub, which is likely the point. Many of the fixtures, including the flooring and the bar, have been restored and only add to the charm. As I was alone, I sauntered up to a bar stool and hopped on. My short legs couldn’t quite reach the foot railing but it certainly wasn’t an uncomfortable position. The bartender quickly approached, and after a brief moment of disappointment(they were out of the Coffee Stout) and a taste test of the Irish Porter and Chocolate Coconut Porter, I went with the Chocolate Coconut. The Irish Porter was creamy and rich, exactly what I was looking for, but the unique profile of the other ended up winning me over by just a tad. I was also going to order the veggie burger, but that too was not an option. The bartender suggested the Veggie Boxty and so I went for it. While sipping on the beer, I struck up a conversation with a barstool neighbor. Turns out he is one of the brewers(Dustin), and we had a great chat about Shamrock, the city of Pueblo, other local breweries, the state of beer in Colorado, festivals and the like. In the mean time, I pretty much inhaled the Veggie Boxty. I’m not sure how to describe it — potato pancake doesn’t seem to do it justice. You’ll just have to try one yourself. The light meal was perhaps an imperfect pairing with the heavier beer, but it is highly recommended. Overall a fun evening and I certainly see myself returning in the near future.

Pueblo has developed its downtown rather than creating bands of closed strip malls like Colorado Springs has done with Circle, Academy, and Powers; so worth the drive to eat in a fun area with a river, shops, and nice streets to walk around. Shamrock is a great brew pub with delicious unique beers and a great Irish menu… including Scotch Eggs and all the standards, nothing frozen, all fresh fixed. Great service, kitchen open until nine with a late night menu for people who stay up past the evening news. Drove back down from the Springs to bring some friends to whom we have been raving about what a classic this place is… it did not disappoint! The food and service and atmosphere and whole setting makes it a Colorado must see and dine destination… this is real deal Irish Pub done perfectly.

Good location, cuisine offerings, also centrally located right by the Sangre De Cristo Arts Center in downtown Pueblo. Right off the freeway(I-25), so even those it’s tucked away in a side street it shouldn’t be too hard to find, especially with sidewalk access. The beer cheese soup is a must try – so good.

Great micro brewery in Pueblo’s downtown area. The menu offers Irish, English, and American foods. On Sunday, they have an additional brunch menu. I only tried 2 beers, the Irish stout and Irish red. The stout was very nice and worth trying. They have a bar area and a dining room. The dining room is family friend and good for groups. In addition, there is a kid’s menu that offers a nice selection. The wait staff was prompt and very friendly. Overall, it is a great place to stop on for a meal and some beers.

Stopped through here for lunch on a roadtrip to Taos. Wasn’t overly crowded, which was perfect because I wanted to get in and out and back on the road. My choices: Scotch eggs, beer cheese soup and a glass of Irish Red. Damn! Pefect portions, and everything hit the spot. Awesome service and awesome eats. A hidden Pueblo gem for sure. PS: they’ve always carried cute t-shirts, but they recently added this Colorado themed one, which I snatched up with a quickness. Now I’m #REPRESENTIN’ :)

Decent, not great, brew pub that I was happy to find in Pueblo. I’m normally about the beer and their Irish red ale is not bad. Irish porter is also OK but lacks body. Food is also important and Shamrock has a menu with a few enticing choices, most that you’d expect in an Irish bar. I chose the corned beef with cabbage and potatoes — pretty good, actually. It’s a nice space and I saw they had a side room with a ton of seating. You can also sit outside on the sidewalk patio. I prefer sitting at the bar. However, Shamrock’s bar seats are not comfortable at all. My back hurt after a short while. Probably should have moved to one of the two-tops. Good bar service.
