The french toast was freezer burnt. Gross! A fried egg doesn’t seem to be an option but you can get some nasty firm unseasoned scrambled eggs and some sad potatoes both of which seem to have been microwaved… I won’t be ordering anything but coffee from this kitchen in the future.

Great atmosphere, food, and sooo many drink choices. A little pricey, but well worth it.

Fun, happy atmosphere. Lots of good local artists and musicians. Good coffee. Good food. Friendly(though sometimes stoned) staff. After you get your food, watch out for that step. Almost broke an ankle.

I love Pueblo! The riverwalk looks almost like the one in Oklahoma City(Bricktown)! But this café isn’t on the riverwalk. It is more nestled on the downtown street of shops. It is really eclectic and hipster cool with captivating art on the walls. The menu of smoothies, teas, and dishes is practically endless. They have a ton of delicious looking loose leaf teas and incredibly healthy and delicious foods such as a smothered breakfast burrito(sooo good — and you can add spinach and olives) or salads. I had the burrito and an iced green tea latte. They also have baked goods and chapstick. This would be my go-to place if I lived in Pueblo, and I’d probably even visit it sometimes if I lived in Colorado Springs. Amazing food and space!

Great coffee and really nice selection of vegetarian food. I had the Über Herbivore sandwich. It was delicious. The husband had the daily special, which was vegetarian tamales smothered with green chili with a side of black beans and potatoes. Yum!

We ordered a nut and honey Caramel latte, also a regular latte. What wonderful tastes those baristas can make. my latte was absolutely delicious and milk was a perfect temperature. I enjoyed the creamy texture as I sit my 12 ounce latte. Keep up the great work guys.

I am not a coffee person so I am normally apprehensive about going to places like this, but the amazing tea wall in which you can select your tea and have them make it for you. It was perfect sitting and sipping whilst it was snowing outside.

We found the atmosphere cool but the food a bit overpriced. We ordered Italian and Club Sandwiches on Texas Toast and we’re surprised to find the Club not toasted. They put our cheeses on the wrong sandwiches but even with that they had good flavor. Their side of potato salad left much to be desired and reminded us of what you would get in a prepackaged container from a supermarket.

I have been here probably 5 times in the past 10 days. Definitely a neighborhood gem. Staff are super friendly and the vibe is perfect, just the way a café should be. Coffee is great, although I have only tried the Americano and Cappuccino they both hit the spot. I would recommend trying the sandwiches too. Best thing about the daily grind is that they have plenty of wall outlets for those of you who want to study or work. I would have to mention that the sockets are old and most are loose so if they would fix that, everything would be absolutely perfect.

Wowwee. An AMAZING coffee shop in downtown Pueblo. The ambiance. The coffee. The building it’s in. The food they offer.

Such a cool spot! I was looking for a quick dinner spot while I was with my bosses family. Their twin boys were starving and we had been walking around for a while doing some site seeing on a business trip. We swung in and I’m so glad that I did. First off: This place is artsy and local. College kids, kids that live near by frequent here(I say kids because they are under the age of 40. :). It’s got tables set aside JUST For chess players and so much art it would take you a whole cup of coffee just to take it all in. Second: They suspend coffees and meals Yes, you can order a meal and pay for another one to be suspended for someone that comes in off the street and asks for a meal and/or coffee. And they will make it for them. Huge, right? **This one sign is what made me fall in love with this place“ Oh. and food wise. Get their grilled cheese sandwiches with 4 different kids of cheese and bacon. Just do it. it’s amazing! I am going back to Pueblo this weekend for another work related trip and one of my first stops Saturday morning will be the Daily Grind!

This place was great. I got the vegetarian burrito, my boyfriend got a tuna sandwich, and we both enjoyed them very much. Nice touches: with the veggie burrito, you can choose whether you want avocado or mushrooms inside. You can also choose to get it smothered with vegetarian green chili or not. Also, the sandwiches come with a choice of sides(coleslaw, potato salad, fruit, chips, other). We also got iced coffees, which were quite good. The atmosphere is also really nice with lots of rooms and tables to choose from, art on the walls, books to read, etc. It was fairly busy while we were there and there was still loads of room to sit. One quirk: they keep their half-and-half in a refrigerator by the front door(where they also store cream cheese, butter, and some items for sale). Initially I thought they only had powdered creamer(ick!) but the real creamer is there, it’s just a bit hidden.

For lunch, me and my wife decided to try a sandwich place in Pueblo. What drew our attention first was the Great Wall of Tea they have since we always like trying a new tea. My wife got the apple cinnamon and it was really good! At first, looking at the place you kind of expect sub-par sandwiches, since a place that does coffee, tea, and desserts can’t be good at them all right? Well turns out that’s wrong for sure. She got the Beef Baron and I got the Bull Riders Special. They did not skimp out on the protein of the sandwich and the bread they serve was tasty. On the Special, the onions and peppers were well cooked and added good flavor to the seasoned fajita meat. Ambience of the place was very nice, they were playing Gorillaz which is a favorite of ours and they place had a welcoming feeling. Overall very pleased with this place and we would return!

This is one of those places that deserves more than five stars. I love Pueblo and I adore The Daily Grind Café. This place exudes character. The location is ideal and the interior has just the right amount of authentic quarkiness. The coffee and food is top notch. Service is friendly and hard working. You can’t go wrong here. PS-This is a great location to pick up the latest PULP, one of the best local papers around.

Stopped here on a road trip from northern New Mexico back to Denver. Usually we settle for a quick fix but were all craving a really good sandwich Wendy’s couldn’t provide, so found this spot on Unilocal!Just what we needed. Everyone grabbed a different kind of sandwich served on our choice of bread or wrap, and paired with a side. I couldn’t resist The Californian — turkey, bacon, provolone, avocado, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, tomato, red onion, red pepper mayo and Dijon mustard of a spinach wrap. It was STUFFED with ingredients and oh so tasty. I actually split it with my mom and we were both more than full after paired with some salt and vinegar chips. They have an impressive selection of coffee and teas so I also grabbed an espresso, while my brother opted for a more adventurous Reese’s cold latte which he liked. I was so excited to find real coffee that wasn’t Starbucks in these parts. We sat outside to eat, but there is a lot of room inside, along with games and couches to hang out on. It seems like a lot goes on here including songwriting workshops and other artsy things. Not going to lie, I was a bit intimidated upon walking in because it seemed like everyone knew what was going on and their food and drink selection is super extensive, but the staff was really friendly. See ya later Cracker Barrel, we just might have a new road trip stop!

Cool little spot in little Pueblo. We were in the area for the Senior Dinner for a friend’s daughter and decided to hang out a little more afterwards. What a cute little place. When we walked in, there was a live band playing which gave the café an organic feel. I enjoyed the music. Reminded me of a church I attended in Maryland some years ago. I had, for the first time, a White Chocolate/Salted Caramel Steamer. Dang was that thing delicious! From the looks of it, everyone comes here, regardless of age.
