Food is good, but the service takes forever. Literally forever. Dinner for five of us took 3 hours. That didn’t even include dessert. Ok, so good food, but slow service doesn’t rate two stars. What makes it two stars is that we went to order the lunch Bento box and they increased the price by $ 7, but that was because they were planning on changing from imitation crab to real crab meat. The problem is that they were PLANNING on doing it but hadn’t done it yet, but ALREADY increased the price.

Tsunami has great customer service and taste. I wouldn’t go elsewhere in pueblo. Try the Lion King roll and King roll for sure! Their miso soup is good and not salty :)

Tsunami’s is awesome, my second time there myself, both my friends first, we enjoyed the Unique Specialties section and all 4 rolls where amazing. Robert prepared our dishes and he did and incredible job. My appetizer’s where Delicious, Crab blossoms blue my taste buds, and the jalapeño popper’s are perfect. Definitely be coming back here, and with more friends. Great job everyone at tsunami’s, you made me a satisfied customer. I will definitely recommend you to family and friends. If you are one who enjoy trying new things, you will enjoy the menu. By the way the sauce they use for the oysters is incredible, love the taste, the oysters are fresh always, oh so delicious…

Had the best time of my life on Valentine’s day never been there before Richard the owner made me feel like a million bucks. Making my first visit a experience to remember for a life time. The waitress Amryn and manager gave me the most exciting meal and service one will never get in Pueblo. The food was excellent and the quantity was more than one could eat. My good wife was also flying high being it was her that took me there scoring big for the night. Thank you for the best night, best*Valentine’s, best experience one could ask for. This place is great*wonderful, took my lady out, we have been together 26 years. Yes she is my wife. I am the the good wife, hopefully!!! We’re there Valentines day. Rick, the owner, accomated us immediately. Our reservation was aguired within an hour. Then, our waitress was amryn, the manger, what a great service. Yeah Pueblo is full of Mex food. I am a great Tex-Mex conasur. But tonight was my best Valentines day ever. This was a happy day for Darlene and Marie

Came here with a pretty large group and they sat us at a good table. Even were nice enough to accommodate for late arriving guests. We got a bunch of different roles so I have a chance to give a fair shot to all of them. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, they are not too skimpy with the fish to rice ratio and the fish tasted fresh. Overall price is on the expensive side for many of the roles so I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you are on a budget. But if you’re treating yourself then go ahead and share some roles.

The food is always amazing. If the service was good this would be 5 stars. The service however is consistently poor. Its sad because it is still my favorite restaurant in Pueblo. With good service, this is definitely the best restaurant in Pueblo.

Great restaurant, disappointing experience We discovered this restaurant when we moved to Pueblo 3 years ago. It was, and has been our«go to» sushi restaurant for the last 3 years because the quality of food here is fresh, and innovative. The service staff has been fairly good, but there have been times when it has not been as good as it could be. With this in mind, we still patronize the restaurant because the food is top notch. We’ve brought our family and groups of friends because we believe in the quality of the food. Tonight, I ordered 4 different types of nigiri, and a new salad that the waitress said was amazing. My husband ordered a noodle bowl and 2 pieces of sashimi. The noodle bowl came, and a few minutes later, my new salad arrived. And then, the wait started. And continued. And continued, until 45 minutes had passed, to where my hunger had reached the peak of a starving shark. I watched longingly as diners, 3 tables of diners who arrived after us, started receiving their PLATTERS of sushi while my table was devoid of any fish like substance. After getting a bit grumpy, I asked the waitress for the check and told her why. She was either scared or reluctant to tell the owner what had happened, but she finally confessed to him what had happened with our table. The owner came to our table to apologize and to make things better. He was genuinely concerned, and really wanted us to know that he valued us as customers. After discussing our experience with him, we have decided we will come back. Not soon, but we will be back. And, I have to say that had the owner not made the move to talk to us, he would have lost 2 customers forever. The fact that he acknowledged us, and our fiasco of a dining experience is what led me to rate the restaurant 3 stars instead of one.

When I go to a sushi restaurant I have a simple scale for judging the quality of the food. I decided to take my better half there for date night for some sushi. This was a mistake. Tsunami failed all my sushi tests, the fish was minced, the roll was tasteless, and my wife’s meal was inedible. We won’t be back there any time soon.. .

I absolutely love the sushi here. It’s the best in town! However, the bathrooms are freezing in the winter! The faucet on one sink is broken & the other is unstable, only giving cold water. So you walk out FREEZING! Tsunami isn’t cheap. I’d expect better bathrooms from a place I spend a lot of money at.

AMAZINGFOOD! Horrible service. Just left a dinner that lasted over two hours because our food never came. After half came and we waited ten more minutes for the last entrée we canceled it. There was no sense of concern that they clearly messed up our order. It’s very disappointing because I love the food and I suggested it for people who had never been there. I won’t be going back and I will be letting everyone I know to do the same. Blue Ocean is right down the street and just as good with amazing service.

Rude rude rude! Absolutely no concept of guest service. We arrived at the restaurant 35 min before closing and were rudely informed by one of the servers that they were closing in 30 min and we basically couldn’t sit in the dining room.

I strongly recommend the spicy crab hand roll, but have them substitute snow crab in place of the imitation crab! It was awesome!

The atmosphere is very chic, the food is delicious, the wait staff very helpful… but don’t go here unless you have a couple hours to spare. Met a friend on my lunch hour, arrived at 12:07 and we ordered within 5 minutes… we didn’t get our food until 1:15 and had to eat in a rush because I was already late back to work. Very sad experience. The place would’ve gotten 5 stars if we had our food in a reasonable amount of time. But seriously? Waiting an HOUR for our meal? That’s just ridiculous.
