Had bacon, eggs, sausage, and home fries. Other than the home fries being slightly underdone for my taste, everything was cooked exactly as it should be. The coffee is a little weak. My love had pancakes and bacon. She can have a discerning palate when it comes to pancakes. I waited as she ate the first few bites … she loved them! All in all a successful breakfast on a cold morning.

Stopped for breakfast here because a local person suggested it. Friendly place and the food was great. Quite a selection of omelettes, and they have homemade raisin bread. Prices are are quite reasonable. Friendly staff and a clean cheerful place! Would definitely return here anytime!

3 great reubens, 3 drinks, two heavenly pies … $ 25 ! add the friendliest waitstaff this side of Nirvana! If I was in the restaurant business, I’d want to own a place like this. Incredible! Yes it’s busy … as it should be! Yes, it can get a bit noisy … it’s a small place. Suffice it to say, we live 400 miles away, otherwise we’d be there every chance we’d get!

Just stopped by on our way through Pulaski. Not the best looking place on the outside but inside is very clean and nice. Perfect diner food. Good quality and tasty. Service was great, everyone is very nice including kitchen staff.

Great service wonderful food. Portions are huge– the haddock sandwich was an entire filet and there were enough chicken tenders to feed two adults.

Great service. Great food. Had the tuna melt and I can honestly say it was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time.

I’ve been here a ton of times over the years an yet they never seem to fail to impress. It is real«hometown» food. I usually get the fries and chicken tenders and it is killer. The fries are always perfect, crispy and golden on the outside, soft and tasty in the middle. And the breakfast here is good too. It can get busy at times(especially during fishing season) because it is a favorite of the locals and fishermen.

We were camping in a nearby campground and just looking for a simple diner with good food. This was our second stop and it fit the bill. It was comfortable, the service was good, the food was good, and the price was right. There is nothing fancy here — just good, simple food.

I traveled here two weeks ago. I ordered a hamburger and asked for all the ‘fixins’ onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, I was charged additional for each item and then on top of this the lettuce was bagged pre-sliced lettuce, the tomatoes were MUSH and the pickles were fine. However the onions were in such a small portion that I am disgusted at having to pay an additional 0.50 $ for them! Also the waitress was terrible. I hope this place finds a good reason to revamp the food soon.

Came here with my family and a few friends and girlfriend to see family and do some sight seeing. Pulaski is a place that use visit fairly often when grandparents lived up here, plus I had a few classes here. My older told me about this diner, so I went to check it out. First time I got the orange glazed fish fillet with onion rings. Onion rings where pretty good. The fillet, however, wasn’t so great. It lacked the flavor pop I was expecting. It was kind of small to. Came back up here today with the family and got a bacon cheese burger with fries. The burger was great! I wouldn’t suggest getting it cooked more than medium-well or the patty will be a bit dry. The fries are the best fries I have ever had! Great flavor, perfect crispy outside! So far a good place to eat, just avoid the fish.

An old, average diner and menu where we expected good home cookin’. On the specials board were four«homemade» soups that seemed promising. Chicken Noodle Soup was starchy with mushy noodles and chicken shreds. Fish Chowder was flour-thick, skimpy on ingredients and nearly tasteless. The Orange Glazed Fish Sandwich, $ 6.75, sounded good, but came on a large, oval plate,(with no bun!), which was a «sandwich-size» fillet topped with melted cheese and surrounded with ORANGEJUICE!!! If I wasn’t starving, I’m sure it would have been sent back. Breakfast might be another story.

What a great little place in sleepy Pulaski. On our way to and from our lake house in Canada we never miss a stop Hometown Diner. The always friendly owners and staff can be counted on to serve up great home cooking at sensible prices. This is not The Ritz Carlton but then again we maybe aren’t quite at the point in life where we live like that. Expect to see mostly locals at this«off the beaten path» hole in the wall.
