Even after spending 18 years of my life in Arizona, Nuevo is one of the best Mexican restaurants. I usually keep it simple with the two enchilada combo or tamale and enchilada. The margaritas are cheap and offer a variety of flavors.

Really like this Mexican restaurant. The service is great and so is the food. Everything is reasonably priced and tastes fresh. It’s never been too busy so I’ve never had to wait too long to get seated nor to get my food. It is however your typical Mexican restaurant, nothing too fancy.

The walls and furniture in this restaurant are painted with vibrant murals and colors. I love it because it adds great character to the building. Also, the customer service was on point. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and prompt. If you’re not already semi-full from eating all the chips and salsa(you can’t just eat one!), then you’ll definitely be stuffed after eating your actual food. I ordered the combination plate(enchilada, taco, and tamale) and it was massive. The combination plates also come with a generous portion of beans/cheese and rice. I wasn’t a fan of their crunchy taco, but I’m sure the soft tacos are good. I have yet to try all the other Mexican restaurants in Pullman, but would recommend this place to anyone who’s craving Mexican food.

Being vegetarian was looking for vegetarian food. Thai and Mexican were the only options. Waitress was knowledgeable and guided us on veg(no fish, meat, seafood) options. Food was tasty and the service was pretty quick. Nice place with lots of murals around.

The food is 4 star while the service is nothing short of 5 star. We are regulars here, and it’s the best Mexican in Pullman, in our family’s opinion. Their salsa is a good blend and just the right spice. I always get the taco salad or tacquitos. Last time we were there, our food came out in 3 minutes! Damn, that’s impressive.

I don’t like their burrito at all.

Service was good and friendly but the food was pretty awful. Beans tasted weird and my chile relleno was the worst I have ever had. The restaurant gave a good effort on the décor. In the end though we will not return.

Good, not great Mexican food. You can find better in Pullman. But it’s not bad for the price, kinda meh.

I was in Pullman in the ’90’s to do Summer Palace, and TOTHISDAY I can’t get the memory of their Arroz con Pollo out of my mind. It is the quintessential comfort food, and for some reason, I can’t find it anywhere else, or duplicate it. I live in New Orleans, and even surrounded by pretty outstanding food, I would WALK to the Palouse for some Nueva Vallarta Arroz con Pollo!

This is my favorite mexican restaurant in Pullman! Food is great, I get the asada tacos every time they are the best. Great service everyone is friendly and they remember you when you come back.

This place used to have really good food. The service is still fast and friendly, but the food isn’t worth it. I spent $ 25 for two people and we only ate ¼ of our food; we couldn’t stomach the rest. Very disappointing experience. I got the Pollo Fundito which sounds good as described, but I was appalled to find they covered it in American slices! Gross! Nothing authentic in this restaurant. My daughter liked her Enchiladas, but said she’d had better.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Pullman! I love this place! The servers are friendly and the ambiance is colorful and inviting. Complimentary chips and salsa are superb along with the mole enchiladas! Very sweet vibes from this place! I will willingly return everyday if I can. Craving that mole enchilada right now…

Unless your out of options for places to eat, don’t eat here. This is American Mexican food. So don’t expect authentic at all. The salsa tastes like a mix of canned tomato sauce and tabasco. Why give it 2 stars then? The servers are so friendly and service is pretty quick. Pricing is average. Yes this place is worse than Azeteca but if your looking for a quick bite to eat on a busy football weekend this should do the trick.

We recently dropped our son off to school here and decided to try a few of the restaurants. By far, the food here was great, the service fast, and the drinks were good. I am not understanding why the reviews for only 3 stars as we are from Los Angeles and the Bay Area and both areas have very fine Mexican restaurants which we’ve frequented. Plan on returning with family/friends as we visit Pullman for the next 4 or 5 years. Great place!

I’ve had good and bad experiences at this restaurant. Definitely nothing consistent. The parking lot kind of sucks and the food is just your basic Mexican food. The prices are cheaper than other Mexican restaurants in the area, but I would recommend paying a couple dollars more and going to a different restaurant.

This place is great for lunch! The prices are super cheap(lunch for $ 5) and portions are pretty good too. Food was always pretty good for me, and I’ve probably eaten here about 10 times.

The people here are so nice, I hate to say anything negative about the place. The service is really speedy and the servers are super friendly, I just haven’t really liked the food that I’ve had. I’ve been there 3 times, every time the enchilada sauce tastes like the stuff that Spaghetti-Os comes in. It may be just my personal opinion, I don’t want to put people off based on that. I’ve also had the combo fajitas and they were ok, but the only thing that I liked was the green chile pork, it was good. The chips and salsa are fresh and the atmosphere is really lively, since it’s so close to our home I’m sure I’ll try this place again in the future.

This was a pretty decent restaurant with fast service! The major positives? 1. Location — you can walk from Beasley Coliseum area easily 2. Portion — enough food to last several leftover meals Warning though… never touch the plates! You know how they say, «the plate is hot» and you inevitably reach over and touch it for some reason… yeah, no good! Haha…
