Punta Gorda Farmer’s Market

This is the Saturday Farmer’s Market in Punta Gorda. It’s a respectable size and bustling in the morning! In addition to a couple large (and crowded!) produce stands, there are also specialty fruit stands (citrus, strawberries), baked goods (including a paleo vegan booth), olives and pickles, not to mention jewelry and assorted crafts (including an amazing woodworking booth; check out the motorcycle rocking horse!) There’s also some prepared food. Oh, and a calypso band!
I must shout out to two of my favorite things: Joshua Citrus (try the strawberry-​orange juice!!), and Authentic Maine Lobster (I had a delicious lobster roll, and they also have things like lobster mac and cheese).
Nice selection, nice setting and good food! I would definitely return on a future visit to PG!
