Josh is very friendly and down to earth and a true expert in his field. However, he’s hard to reach at times. A few years ago I acquired a superb Fritz Gutter bow from him and it’s served me very well on two very different violins. I’m on the West Coast now, but when I told him I wanted to upgrade bows he was more than happy to ship me four bows to test out. I didn’t end up buying any of the bows he sent me, but I still think very highly of him. When I’m finally ready for a significant bow upgrade, I’ll definitely reach out to Josh for assistance.
