My absolute favorite Brewery!!! They change some of the selection every few weeks. Currently they are serving 690# Gorilla. Its a stout brewed in Bourbon barrels 11% alc. Packs a kick and tastes very good. Best thing about there beers is none of them are over powering. Different food trucks every week.

Cool place with indoor and outdoor options. Broad selection of beers in the low to mid ABV level. They had just introduced«The Gorilla» which i didn’t try but spoke to a fellow who really enjoyed it. This was their 1st foray into stronger beers. Liked the IPA’s we tried but think we’ll go back in the warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor area. The road into this place is a little rough so leave your luxury cars at home.

This is what America is all about. Great beer, family, friends, sports on the tv and kids running around playing. On a dirt road in the country. Old school popcorn machine is a nice touch. Great lineup of beers for all tastes. Pale ales, brown ale, porter and the new gorilla 690 imperial stout are all perfect.

I took my now wife during the summer and we absolutely loved it. The have a great outdoor seating with just enough shade so you never have to worry about getting overheated by the sun. It’s a place to really just relax and enjoy a few beers. When we went the food truck was there but we didn’t order food from them but the option of having it was nice. It sure smelled very good. The brewery is dog friendly too so that’s an important detail everyone should know. The brewery is tucked away in the dead end of a street so it feels like your own private place with the popularity and ambience of brewery. Definitely going again. If I had to recommend my favorite beer I’d go with old 690 blonde ale(7.1% ABV)

Great rustic environment! Beers were great – flavor is on ‘A’ game. Fire pit outside… awesome

I visited here on a Sunday with a date. The place has very much a rustic atmosphere — rough wood walls, a long bar, high-tops indoors, and a fire pit and tables outdoors. We were warmly greeted and tried the flight that offers a taste of all 11 beers. They were delicious. From light to dark the beers had great taste. I am very glad to have tried this place and recommend it as a beer break in between vineyards. The place doesn’t have a kitchen but there was a food truck that was reasonable and pretty good. I think they rotate trucks. The place is easy to find and its a nice country drive. I’ll be going again.

Awesome! Went with friends who live in Leesburg. You serve yourself at the bar and can do an 11 sample flight, or a pint. Also have growlers for sale. The inside is well done with high top tables and TV. There is a free popcorn machine. The outside is a huge patio with tables chairs and umbrellas. There is a big grassy area too if you wanted to bring a blanket. There is a restroom. And they have food for purchase inside, as well as a food truck outside. Also, it was VERY dog friendly. Our dog ran around the grassy area for a while with some kids and everyone was just very welcoming. The beer though, was AWESOME. Their pumpkin beer is the best I’ve ever had. Smells like nutmeg, tastes very easy and light. There wasn’t a beer I sampled that I didn’t like. Definitely going to go again!

A group of us visited Old 690 Brewing Co. this past weekend. When we got arrived — there were a few open tables About 10 minutes after we arrived — the place just exploded with customers! We got there just in time. Old 60 is very popular. They opened their doors in August 2014. We snagged a table and ordered tasting flights — 8 ales to a flight. My flight of ales was as follows(plus I ordered a taste of the Black IPA once I completed the flight): Old 690 Blonde Ale(7.1% ABV): Light blonde ale — nothing to write home about flavor-profile wise… Bitter Neighbor Pale Ale(5.7% ABV): Excellent IPA — well balanced amongst the various flavors — hop and malt, with a crisp bitter finish. 21 Session IPA(4.7% ABV): Pretty good as a Session IPA goes — I usually find these to be less flavorful than a normal IPA — but this one was well done. Bitter Neighbor IPA(7.1% ABV): Strong IPA, but it did not have as bitter a finish as the 21 Session IPA — which was unexpected. Pot Hill Porter(5.5% ABV): I thought this brew was rather weak and watery — it did not resonate well with my taste buds. Stoner Point Smoked Ale(5.1% ABV): This was an interesting and tasty ale. We had a bit of fun making up stories as to how this Ale is brewed, and how it should be served! Roadside Raspberry Wheat(4.7% ABV): I could not drink this brew — I’m finding that Raspberry Wheat beers and my taste buds do not get along. I thought this one tasted like that old Dimetap cough medicine. After taking a couple of sips — I set it aside. Sour Neighbor Peach(5.5% ABV): This one was better than the Roadside — I could see drinking a pint of this on a hot summer day — but not something I would normally gravitate towards. Old 690 Black IPA(7.1% ABV): My absolute favorite Ale of the group! Nice intersection of roasted malts and hoppy, resiny hops! I’d drink a pint of this any time! The one thing I will ding Old 690 on is — the entertainment. It was way to loud. We had to shout at one another the entire time we were there in order to communicate with one another. C’mob Old 690 — you can turn the volume down a bit! There is a limited menu available — and a popcorn machine. Plus a food truck was parked outside selling BBQ and sides. The restrooms are located outside — there is at least one restroom built into the building, but accessible only from the outside — and there was one Don’s Johns. Staff was friendly and efficient. Not sure how many were working there — but it seemed like a lot — and they needed every one of them!

Ha I swear I felt like Bo Duke driving on these roads in my mopar powered truck! When pulling in this place I felt I was at home on the range. They had a BBQ truck right as you walk and all I could think of was food. Now what a nice comfy and clean tasting room. New yet what’s the word I’m looking for… Oh nostalgic. The owners are ex
