Walgreens

Nothing super duper that warrants 5 stars but they haven’t made a mistake yet, so that’s why 4 stars.
I used to get my prescriptions from Rite-​Aid but they messed up my prescriptions more times than I care to remember. So I switched to Walgreens and they have been spot on. Ample parking, no lines an a cute pharmacist, I’m happy.
My only two recommendations are that when you go to the store counter there is almost never anyone there and I have to wait for them. Also, it would be nice to have a 24 hour pharmacy, or at least extended hours.

They had a problem with their photo printer which delayed our prints by over a day. They didn’t call to tell us, so when I drove all the way out there, it was quite an inconvenience to hear the prints weren’t ready. The next day they weren’t printed until late; but the manager arranged for an employee to drive them to our house. They saw the prints were our holiday cards and wanted us to have them in time to send out before Christmas. Mechanical issues aren’t their fault; but they went out of their way to make it right. I took a star off since they didn’t tell us ahead of time; but they deserve the remaining 4 stars for the excellent customer service! Great job Walgreens team!

The Purcellville copy of Walgreens is new, clean, fast and friendly. The staffers are helpful, the store is well stocked, and the parking lot is thankfully ingressed away from the main road making for safer entries\exits. I’m not a regular customer of this copy of Walgreens, but would be happy to patronize it next time I pass through.

Walgreens is finally opened in Purcellville!!! A real drugstore. Okay, not a compounding center (they lose one star for that), but the best regular drugstore in the area. If they don’t stock your medication, ask them to and it will be there for you every month. No more leaving the drugstore with half-​filled scripts only to have to go back in two days just to get the rest. Their automated system keeps track of inventory and alerts them to fill your script three days prior to due date which gives them time to reorder just in case they’re low.
Added bonus: whole store, including drive-​thru, is open until 10pm Monday thru Friday, and until 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
Another bonus is the Walgreens app.
