Purchase Day Camp

When I was searching for a summer camp in Westchester, NY I interviewed many and found that Purchase Day Camp was the place for me! All of my 3 children have attended PDC. Every day is exciting, full of incredible daily programming and special events. My children enjoy the swimming, crafts and especially the sports. PDC offers an exciting program run by an experienced staff and for me, Purchase Day Camp is where I feel my children are safe and they can enjoy the outdoors in a fun, caring environment. I highly recommend Purchase Day Camp.

My sons have been attending Purchase Day Camp for the last five summers and they absolutely love it. During the school year, whenever we drive by the Purchase Community House, my older son says «I can’t wait for summer to get here,» and I know he is talking about camp. I think the broad range of activities and the strong sense of community at the camp are what keep my kids coming back for more. I feel great about sending them because I know that they are very well supervised, which is very important not only for the younger campers but also for the older kids who go on the field trips. Other parents (not just on Unilocal) have raved about the swim program at PDC and I can say that the swim instruction my kids get has been top-​notch. We have tried a couple of other day camps in Westchester but this is the one for us.

Both my daughters have been happy campers at PDC since they were each six years old. Six years later, I can say PDC has been a wonderful summer experience for my kids full of fun, enrichment and with plenty of supervision. The experienced well-​trained staff provide a safe, positive environment where the kids are busy and active all day long. Swimming twice a day, one instructional swim and one free swim has been a definite plus improving their skills and keeping them cool on those hot summer days. We have had such positive experiences at PDC that I’d recommend it without question.
