First time going to the Performing Arts Center. My wife and I saw Martha Graham Dance Co and we were thoroughly impressed with the dancers. I don’t usually watch contemporary dance but xin ying and the rest of the company were extremely talented and performed their hearts out. Go see the show!

A very comfortable performance venue. The Purchase Performing Arts Center includes both large and small(PepsiCo) auditoriums. Both provide relaxed seating with fine acoustics. With a spacious lobby area which includes a café one can relax prior to the show. As with any venue ones enjoyment primarily depends on performance. While we were disappointed with the«Monterey Jazz Festival» on Saturday evening we couldn’t help but wonder why more«Pop» and«Jazz» concerts aren’t scheduled here. Easy driving(in and out) access into the very spacious — and free — parking lot only adds to the comfort as does nearby restaurants for early /late dining.

Cozy performing arts center. Review for the annual Bob Mathes holiday concert which was a festive holiday performance with songs for Christmas, Hanukah… Great Mathes is very talented and passionate about his music and this annual event — people come back year after year — The talented horn/sax players join each year to bring everyone into the holiday spirit . And the accompanying musicians, singers and choir were amazing — and Mathes’ daughter’s song and voice– chilling … Vanessa Williams joined this year for a couple songs and she was amazing Mathes and his show definitely bring the holiday spirit to the performing arts center !
