I complain about salt a lot so it may seem that I’m just doing it here out of habit. But good lord, the three dishes we ordered were so salty that it burnt my tongue. Also, the beef in the broccoli beef tasted off and was tough and chewy; I really don’t want to know what cheap cut it was. There were some good things about the food, though, it wasn’t all bad. The non-salt flavors were nice and the dishes were well cooked The fresh or spring rolls were really good also.

Hate to give 2 stars because these people had great customer service, but I’m not coming back here. I judge every Thai restaurant by their chicken pad thai. That’s my favorite dish, but this place had some awful pad thai! I mean downright disappointing. I took a coworker out to lunch and treated them to pad Thai for the first time, and I had to tell them that this isn’t your typical pad Thai. Typical pad Thai isn’t so sticky because of overcooked noodles. The oily noodles had a dirty taste to it; I wonder how often they clean/change their oil?). Typical pad Thai is spicier(I had a level 4 and it seemed to be a level one). The chicken in it was dry and flavorless. There was an abundance of noodles(which probably makes them ranks higher in some people’s eyes.). There were four of us at the table and none of us were impressed with the food. I came here because Unilocal gave it 4⁄5 stars; I disagree.

Ordered the Chicken Rama lunch combo with pad Thai. The chicken Rama was good, not anything extra special but just good. The pad Thai was actually not very appetizing and I couldn’t figure out why, it just seemed kinda blah. The reason for 3 stars was because the meal came out really fast and the appetizer was super tasty. Deep fried prawns and broccoli with sweet chilli sauce was excellent!

I’ve only gotten take out here, but it’s tasty with a good value. I always have 2 – 3 meals out of one dinner. It’s my go to Thai place near my house.

Nice small place for a quick bite. Me and my husband came in during lunch and it was pretty slow, service was good, food is better then average. The Crab delight was not delightful. It should be called cream cheese puff. There was very little crab in it. However the chicken pad thai was good, moist and saucy. Also the masasum curry was good. The pork in the curry was tender not rubbery. I wish there would be bigger portion for the price.

This is actually a very decent Thai restaurant. I had lunch there the other day with red curry and Pat Thai combo. Pat Thai was NOT oddly sweet or ketchupy(this is not easy in the area… and is why I still haven’t found my «it» Thai food restaurant after a decade of living in Pierce County) AND the noodles were not overcooked! Great start! And the curry… what I liked the most about it was what was in there. Peppers, bamboo shoots, mushrooms. Very simple, and awesome. Don’t like lets put all the vegetables that we can come up with type curry. Service was fine. They weren’t chatty but at least served food with smiles. It’s easy to drive pass it on busy River Road, but worth a shot!

New to the area. Called for pick up, but the restaurant was so neat, clean, friendly, with good uplifting music that I decided to dine in and keep away from the office. Ordered the Chicken Pad-See-Ew ***. It was delicious and flavorful. Not too spicy, but just enough fully mixed in with every bite. Portion was a good size that I have another meal out of it. Definitely coming back.

The server/host/cashier– the owner Binda she does it all and I love her service there. It feels like I’m more than welcome there– it’s a nice feeling. The bathrooms are very clean and decorated as well. Now how can I not feel comfortable there =P I love love the house special noodle soup! It’s my childhood favorite noodle soup. I can’t believe this restaurant is the only one that have Kow piek in the menu! I was surprised. I enjoy the beef jerky, fried rice, all kinds of stir fries as well. You’ll never be disappointed if you go there. I guarantee you!

Lunch was pretty good, I ordered the number one lunch special which is red curry and Phad Thai. The curry was very good. My service was horrible. I order my food 4 stars usually and the place wasn’t busy yet I had to keep asking for water. Annoying. I ordered the sticky mango rice and it was not good. Specifically the white coconut sauce poured over the sticky rice, I’m a big fan of thai food and eat it on a regular basis especially mango sticky rice and their white sauce is very blan. I told the waitress and she replies with how to eat mango sticky rice. I know how to eat it!’ Lol! So just a heads up if you are a fan of mango sticky rice you might feel the same so save 7.00. Since the food was only ok and the service sucked o doubt I will return.

It is 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. I pull in the open sign is on, hours posted in door say 11am-8:30pm. We where told we are closed. Very irritating to go to a restaurant after checking when the close, to have them decided to change their hours!

Ample parking and the interior was cozy but not tight. There were maybe 10 – 12 tables for patrons. We were greeted with a smile and told to sit wherever we wanted(we arrived shortly after 1 pm and there were a lot of empty tables). We were looking over their main & lunch menu when they brought out a small soup for each of us. The jury is still out about the soup. I couldn’t make out what was in it and the flavor was ok but there was an aftertaste after each sip. The soup had cilantro in it and I’m not sure if it was fish or oyster sauce but I didn’t finish it. It wasn’t bad but not, OMG this is yum. I had their combo 1. Red chicken curry, phad thai, and brown rice. I also ordered a thai iced tea. It was pretty good. Good flavor and it did taste like the 4 star heat I requested. Service was attentive and not overbearing. I would go back! My friend enjoyed his meal and felt the same way!

Ordered takeout from here tonight. Got the Chicken Pad Thai(3stars) and chicken Panang Curry(3stars). The pad thai was a little spicier than I would have liked, but delicious nevertheless. The Panang curry was amazing. I will definitely be ordering that again! Portions were very large, I have a lot left over. Service was incredibly quick– my order was ready in 10 minutes! The only reason for 4 stars is that my pad Thai could used a touch more peanut sauce and been a little less spicy. *Also, the takeout boxes come with foil in the bottom so be sure NOT to reheat your leftovers in the microwave in the container they give you!

I love their food! The boat soup and the house soup is excellent! It’s must. I also love their rice dishes as well. The owner is very friendly and sweet. I was never disappointment with the service or food there. The prices are great. I call to order a take out and the food was ready when I arrive.

Okay SO. My husband and I can’t get enough of this place. It can sometimes be on the pricier side, but not outrageously so, and the food is SOGOOD, we don’t mind. I originally reviewed this place following our first meal here… I gave it 5 stars then and I’d give it 5+ stars now if I could. The food is consistently delicious, quick and fresh. My husband gets the phad Thai and I prefer their red curry to the other Thai restaurants in the area. If you’re a tofu person, the tofu here is always fresh(both the soft & fried varieties are great). The service is so friendly– the owners(?) kids are often there and we enjoy watching them play and chat… They’re just a kind, lovely family, always so courteous and helpful. We love it here!

We went here for dinner and I have to say I was very mixed on both the service and the food. Firstly I didn’t think the service was that good, it was actually very poor. We ordered curry one red and one green. I eat a lot of Thai curry so I am pretty well versed in what is good and what is not. The red curry was a spice level 5 which was good but we asked for a level 1 on the green and it definitely was not a 1 it was more like a 4. The curry base sauce for both curries were extremely runny and not like the normal thick coconut milk base I’m used to. We did complain about the green curry but there was no real response except for sorry. After this one experience I will not be coming back here and I would also not recommend this place to anyone else.

Very different from most places around here. Kids playing out front, I would bet Grandma is in the back cooking. Both waitresses were beaming with appreciation for our business. They seem more appreciative to be in America than any other person I have ran into around here.(we should send complainers to live in a third world country for a year) Food was good. Our Ginger dish was just okay, but the Cashew chicken was spot on. We also got a big bowl of rice without extra charge(most places charge for the rice). We will try the rest as time goes on. This place will be a regular for us. We love Thai food. Stir fry veggies with awesome sauce. A healthy $ 25 dinner for two with tip. Can’t beat that.

In town on work and decided to go here for lunch based on other Unilocal reviews. I ordered the Rama Chicken and brown rice and it was a little different from what I’ve had before but still very yummy. The chicken is broiled which I suppose makes it a little healthier yet also a little on the dry side. Other than that I did enjoy my lunch. Website:

A hidden gem worth trying Hubby and I didnt know what we were in the mood floor so I Unilocaled a few places and this one just sounded soo good! We pull up and it’s a small little store front very cozy. We go inside and it’s quiet and it smells sooo good. I could smell the basil and curry in the air… mmmm The waiter came over and filled our water glasses and we decided we were ready to order. We started with a mixed appetizer which consisted of two vegetable egg rolls, 2 cream cheese and crab filled wontons they called Giew Gob, two fried prawns, two pieces of fried tofu, and two prawn spring rolls with a side of yummy peanut sauce. For entrees we did the shrimp pad thai and the red curry with chicken accompanied by some very tasty brown rice. You can order white rice too for the record I prefer brown. The appetizer came super fast and it was delicious! I never care for fried tofu but it too was very good. The spring rolls were rolled tight the way you’d expect a good spring roll to be and was just enough. All in all a very good appetizer. About 5 minutes later our entrees arrived. yum! The smell alone made me wanna do a jiggy dance…:-) I took some pad thai and a piece of the grilled shrimp together In one harmonious bite. Heaven guys… just pure heaven… if my taste buds could talk they would have thanked me! The brown rice cooked perfectly and the curry… wow! Full of flavor and the creamy coconut with all those wonderful Thai spices hit the spot! This is going to be one of those places we’ll have to make a staple whenever we return for visits. Cheers!
