First off this store looks like a bomb went off in it. The line is backed up half way across the store. I came in to grab some speaker grill fabric and I walked around trying to find it with no help. In fact there wasn’t even anyone that could help. Poor management. Hire some people that know what they are doing! I’ll never be back, there are better options online that are more cost effective. Don’t be surprised if the online market closes you down

There is a lot of people always and not enough registers. The prices are too high and I cant never seem to be able to find my way around the store, and there is never an employee around to help me find what I need I dont like this store and I truly only come here as my last optin.

Definitely not the best Jo Ann store around. I go here because it’s the closest one to my house. They lack in variety and selection of items. The fabric section is TINY and lacks A LOT that the bigger Jo Ann’s stores have. If you are willing to drive the extra 30mins, go to the one in Tukwila. Vastly better selection.

Ugh! What a nightmare. Mid day during the week I waited 30 minutes to get fabric cut and 15 minutes to, check out. No thanks.

I must say I received excellent customer service from this Joanns it was a busy Saturday and the line to check out and the line to get your fabric cut was extremely long but I was still able to get help looking for ribbon for my wedding invitation. And on top of that once we found what we were looking for the lady went and cut it for us instead of having us wait in the long line. She was awesome!

Sad. I went to Jo Ann’s. to try CROSSSTITCHING… but :/ They didn’t have many choices(small size) … usually I am very excited to go to Jo Ann’s but this trip was disappointing! I plan on going back in a few days to see if there are new ones later.

Jo Ann’s is a great stop for your arts and crafts needs and unlike Michaels, they have fabrics here. It’s truly a one stop shop for whatever you need! They have Wilton baking supplies, zippers, home décor, beads, and a huge array of fabrics. They almost always have their items on sale and have 40% off coupons for regular priced items. Tips: *If you’re waiting to get fabric cut, don’t forget to grab a ticket for your spot in line!

I don’t sew or knit or paint or draw. I do bake and I was surprised to see they had some baking supplies. A limited selection and mostly for cakes/cupcakes, but good to know! My girlfriend was getting her first sewing machine for christmas and I figured I would grab a couple of items to help get her started. Just some pins, scissors and a pin cushion/box to hold needles and sewing things. I obviously have no idea what’s going on in this world for the most part, but I stumbled my way through it and came out on top and she was very happy with everything. The place was pretty busy, but the line out the door wasn’t too bad. I went back a second time and it was much worse and from what my girlfriend has told me, neither of my lines compared at all to the one she stood in a few weeks earlier. I honestly had no idea how popular this place was. Nice selection for lots of things other than fabrics and thread. With the 40% coupons you can get in the tacoma news tribune each week, this place really is a no brainer.
