Puyallup Nails

I hate to be the only one who isn’t raving about this place, but I have to be honest as I rely on Unilocal a lot when trying to find new places to go. I’ve been trying to find a good nail salon in the area after recently moving here from Northern Virginia. After seeing such good reviews I decided to try this place out. I drove by the hole in the wall salon wondering if it was even safe to go into and decided I would give it a try, despite the looks from the outside. Kim did my «gel manicure». The selection of colors is very minimal, the interior of this place is dirty, old, un kept. Kim was nice, helped me achieve the color I wanted since they don’t carry any newer colors. The reason I give this place 2 stars is lack of care of attention to detail. See my pictures I uploaded. Not cleaned up, not well done. This is not skin in the pics, it’s the dried up product that was not removed and under my nails is the debris from the drill used to shape. I have to sit here and pick all around my nails to clean them up. When I go get my nails done, I want a relaxing, calm experience and this was far from it, unfortunately.

this little salon is fabulous. Kim is really fabulous. My nails were done absolutely beautiful and she is quick as well.

Very nice owner, Kim, makes you feel at home. Small shop so I would bet making an appointment would be the best way to get in. I went in as a walk in and didn’t wait long at all though.

Blink and you might miss this salon! Small shop with big results! Kim was awesome! Friendly and kind. She’s very good and the mani & pedi felt great. I was picky about how wide the French tips of my shellac manicure were, and she was compliant & patient. Parking might be a challenge; she doesn’t have her own lot, but there’s an alley next to the salon with a lot and on street parking about the corner. Don’t give up and drive away, she’s worth it.

I actually added this business myself because she wasn’t on Unilocal but this is a small nail salon with fabulous service! Not fancy so don’t expect it! You can expect an awesome manicurist that knows what she’s doing. It’s Kim and her mom that own it. Kim has always done my nails here. I’m super picky (like ocd) about my nails and went to about 5 different salons before stumbling upon this place accidentally! I drive from tehaleh because it’s well worth it! Hesitated putting it on Unilocal because I never have to wait now but more clientele means more waiting! Lol! Enjoy!
