Super fresh veggies, wide assortment of sauces and several selections of meat and noodles. Pots stickers are tasty, eggrolls not so much. Excellent value though at less than ten dollars for lunch.

I’m giving this place 4 stars because it has a decent selections the staff are always pleasant and I’m always happy with my food. It’s just a little drabby, but that’s okay with me.

So far… this is the best Mongolian style restaurant in the area. All of them tend to undercook for what I am used to… having eaten this all over the country and several other countries… including Mongolia’s neighbor… Kyrgyzstan. The soup is very good… potstickers great. If it sucks… it’s your fault… learn some better recipes. ALWAYS add at least one ladle of some kind of oil. Most veterans can be seen using the two bowl method(meat in one… marinating while you get your noodles and veggies is good). Get them to cook a little longer… maybe not add any sauces you didn’t give them… and if you want a good potsticker sauce… mix ½ soy, ¼ vinegar, and ¼ something else as taste dictates(hoisin, teriyaki, Sriracha…) If they would only listen about adding some wraps or tortillas… the place would see an immediate boost in praise and business… I guarantee it!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Normally eat lunch here though. Great price for all you can eat. Once you get an idea of what sauces match your taste buds, your set. You can get in and out quickly too. Service is great.

Ever since I left Stockton, CA I have been looking for a mongolian restaurant that is up to the same standards. I have been sadly disappointed, until now. This place has a great variety of meats, vegetables, and sauces. Having a good variety of sauce is very important to me since it is what creates the flavor. I found the egg drop soup quite tasty. I would definitely come back here.

Price is cheap. Food is fresh and tasty. Free pot stickers and soup. I’ll be coming back whenever I feel like pigging out. Oh and the service was great thanks.

Really great find in Puyallup. Good for lunch or dinner. Was looking for Mongolian and decided to try this one based on the Unilocal reviews. It was worth the drive. Wasn’t busy when we were there but all of the food was fresh. I will be back

Overall a really good Mongolian place. I love how, for a reasonable price, you get all you can eat Mongolian stir fry plus a variety of soups, a gyoza bar, rice and even ice cream. The amount of food you get definitely exceeds the expectations based on the price. Also, I have never in my life had egg flower soup this good. I didn’t even realize egg flower soup could be so good, definitely the best I’ve had. The Mongolian stir fry itself is way up there too, although it’s hard to screw up Mongolian buffet If you know what you like and the buffet area is well stocked, which this one always is. Thumbs up because the shrimp come with the tails already off(I hate when places leave them on, what a pain) I did have to take one star away because although I was very excited about the concept of an all you can eat gyoza bar, it just doesn’t quite work. The gyoza in my opinion tasted old and over cooked or something, a bit rubbery, not a good flavor and just pretty inedible in my opinion, my only other complaint would be that the carrots in the noodle buffet area didn’t look quite so fresh and were slightly discolored/sort of browned around the edges. Not so appetizing, but honestly those are my only two complaints and I’ve been here several times and will be back several more. Definitely one of the best Mongolian restaurants around and an all around great experience. The staff are nice too.

This place was great! They have a wide selection of fresh veggies, meats/seafood and sauces. The staff was friendly and my food was cooked perfectly. The lunch price was $ 8.99 and it comes with choice of soup, rice, egg rolls and potstickers. Well worth it! My husband and I will definitely be back!

It’s a self-serve Mongolian BBQ place. I think if you’re coming here, you should know what to expect. It was $ 12 per person when I went, which is by no means cheap. However the ingredients tasted very fresh, and there was a wide variety to choose from. All sorts of different vegetables, and for meat they even had shrimp, squid, and fish! I totally did not expect that. Plus of course it is all-you-can-eat for that price, so I guess you can really get your moneys worth if you really wanted to. That’s not really my style though. Personally I think Mongolian BBQ is great, it’s basically pick-your-own ingredients to sauté. What I always do is fill a bowl of veggies and a bowl of meat, and that’s pretty much the limit of what I can eat, with a good variety of everything. If you in any way like Mongolian BBQ, I’m sure you will enjoy this place. If you’ve never had it before, I encourage you to give it a try. It may be a little intimidating due to the overwhelming amount of choices, but honestly you can’t go wrong with jamming Garlic Sauce or House Sauce on everything!

Lots of Great choices and clean restaurant we are a large family of 6 and did not know that over the age of 5 they charge for adult price was good but to expensive for us. Looking for a good Mongolian Grill this place is good if you got the Green. Asked my hubby to try an egg roll and he came back with a veggie roll because they never made any egg roll yet the sign was up!!! Anyways sorry hummmmm so he was not impressed by them as you can see from the pic«after 2 pic before this 1» and I was really hoping that the gyzo would be good but I was disappointed and they did not have the traditional dipping sauce for the gyzo. The lady was very good at making sure our water glasses never went empty but not the soda glasses(not sure about free refill’s) and we never had to wait for our food to get cooked even when they all took a break at the same time. Family owned we think and nice people, we gave them $ 10 for a tip and our bill was $ 76 and that why I only gave it 3 stars. I really think this place would have more families with children if they lowered that price for kids to either .69 cents per year or .99 cents per year until age 10 or 12. We would consider coming back again if they did but we won’t be back because it’s just to expensive for us. Our kids are 3,5,8 and 13 but the 3 littles only ate a few bits of just noodles and rice. And because we don’t believe in waste we made sure to only make small portions of noodles for them.

Was very impressed with this place. The biggest part was the clean buffet section!!! So many times you go into these types of grills and the food bar is just nasty! This one is clean, labeled and they have a good variety of veggies! Even spinach noodles! I never had to wait long for my food to grill, the waitress kept my drink full and made sure I got the most out of my money(she pointed out all the freebies to me!) they give rice, spring rolls, potstickers and a couple sauces for free to add on after your meal has grilled. Will definitely be back!

You would not expect a Mongolian grill place to be on River Road but there is one, and it’s better than other Mongolian grill places anywhere else i’ve been to. The front of the restaurant is seating, on the left side past the seating area are the soups, we had egg flower and hot and sour to choose from when we went. The right side had the gyoza, egg rolls, pineapple, peanuts and wonton crisps for your toppings and rice. In the back the Mongolian grill ingredients bar and the grill itself. Everyone there is nice and very helpful. They bring you your beverages, everything else is available to you buffet style. The prices are very cheap for everything that comes with your meal. We went during dinner time, so the cost was $ 12 per person i think. Reading the other reviews, I didn’t experience any of the things they described. My boyfriend and I will try it again will update this review if things have changed. But we will be back!

This is by far one of the best Mongolian Grill restaurants in the area. Clean, family owned, good food. The food line has a great selection of noodles, vegetables and meat(lamb and seafood options for dinner) The chefs at the grill do a great job preparing the food and the result(if you didn’t screw up the sauces) is a flavorful meal. Potstickers and vegetable egg rolls for dine in and a variety of soups to choose from to accompany your meal.

I was so disappointed that I could no longer find or visit a Mongolian grill in Seattle, eastside, or anywhere near my home! I found this place in Puyallup and wow! What a selection of options as well as quick service. What helps is that the place is a big rectangle so assistance is easy to go and grab and they can see you in return. Always ready to grill up things when you get into the food prep area. The bill payment place is obvious and the setup is very simple… even at my very first visit, I pretty much knew how to work it. I find the signs they place around the restaurant to be entertaining as people will be what they are and require reminders to be courteous unfortunately. So they become kind of a theme for me and I laugh at them. The people who run the place seem to be Korean of ethnicity. They were having their lunch on the side and I wanted to steal some of what they were eating!!! Kimchee and Bulgogi?! Yum! Anyway, back to the review. What I really loved about this place is that even though not many Mongolian grills are surviving, they manage to offer a crazy low price, pot stickers of 3 types for free, soups included, sauce options, many veggie and meat options. Serve yourself! How?! I appreciate it so please stay open! I like how they are giving to this community rather than taking advantage of it. if this was open in Bellevue or Redmond, it could be double the price and would still have people out the door. Thanks!

The review is in regard to the wrong charge they placed when we went there the 2nd time. We are good tippers when we placed the order over the cooking counter. But a couple days later after we had lunch there, they charged another $ 13 tip on top of $ 24 meal. I don’t think I will ever go there again.

Once again my job gave me the opportunity to try out a new place to eat. This time it was lunch at a Riverside Mongolian Grill in Puyallup. Considering the wide range of food I’ve eaten in my life, I’ve never once managed to have«Mongolian Barbecue.» According to Wikipedia, Mongolian barbecue is neither Mongolian nor barbecue. It’s just stir fried meat and vegetables. The Riverside Mongolian Grill had that but it was also a bit like buffet as they had a number of other food items around the perimeter of the place while their grill was positioned in the middle manned by two gentlemen placed there to cook food for the patrons. As this was my first time I wasn’t completely certain what to do but the lady behind the register pointed us back to the buffet tables that were filled with vegetables and various meats. The sign said«All You Can Eat,» so we filled our bowls high, some of us even filling two bowls before we then took then up to the guys around the grill. Read the rest here:
