If I could leave zero stars, I would. My colleague and I ordered from the online menu as we needed to quickly pick up lunch and get back to an event we were working in Sumner. As I searched the mall surroundings, I never found The Lotus Grill/Indian Kitchen — so I called. The man who answered the phone answered with«hello» and not the name of a business and then realized my reason for calling. He stated he had cancelled our online order as they didn’t have what was necessary to make our meals; samosa, naan, mutter mushroom and tikki chicken. FAIL.

THEBESTINDIANFOODHANDSDOWNINTHE253! Finally a place where one can experience what homemade-family recipe down to earth Indian food is all about. The Curry’s, the Tikka Masala, The Butter Chicken… All amazing! The fried Tikka Chicken is yummmmm! The Garlic Naan bread OMG!!! The Basmati Rice is BUTTERY&DELICIOUS! I can’t believe the owner doesn’t have her own stand-alone restaurant! Her prices and portions are great; and she’s such a doll, so sweet! Anyway if you’re in the mood for some ethnic comfort food go The Lotus Grill! It’ll be worth every penny!

Good portions, reasonably priced, and delicious! I was skeptical since its in a shopping mall food court but I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the butter chicken entrée that came with rice and naan, then ordered a soda and my total was only about $ 9…and everything was SUPERYUMMY! I live in this area but usually drive to a restaurant in Renton if I’m craving Indian food but I wouldn’t hesitate to just drive up the hill to the mall to eat at the Lotus Grill!

Five star rating on their Nann bread alone, that was legitimately the BEST Naan bread that I’ve ever eaten hands down!!! Loved the butter chicken, rice, tikka masala, and their prices. What a little gem hidden away in the mall… Two thumbs up…

I almost find it a little ridiculous how delicious this place is considering it is in a food court. This is my second time and the food did not disappoint again. The palak paneer is creamy with huge chunks of paneer and the butter chicken is amazing. Hearty portions give me two meals for the price of one. This place is so great I waited to eat lunch until 3 since I was coming this way and I am pregnant!

The garlic Naan she made fresh when i ordered. Ill be back for sure! She also isn’t greedy like most places at the mall. I asked for water and she gave me a large cup that actually had a lid!

Absolutely exquisite Indian cuisine. It’s a little mind blowing that this place is in a mall food court. Homemade food, check out the samosas, and the fresh homemade naan. A huge selection. Deserving of its own standalone business.

Lotus is very good Indian food for being in the mall food court. The curry chicken was very tasty, as was the tikka masala. The tikka masala was a little too sweet and could have used some more spices(Karma’s version will always be the gold standard for me). I also liked the garlic naan but would suggest eating it in the court since it got kind of tough from steaming in a to-go wrapper. Great rice, and the server was very friendly. I will definitely be back when I’m at the mall. Cue«Let’s Go to the Mall.»
