Some of the worst service I’ve ever received. My boyfriend and I went in on a Sunday night. The blonde behind the bar watched us walk in gave us a dirty look. Then we sat at a table. She ignored us for about 5 – 8 minutes while she just stood there talking. Finally she slowly walked over to us. She seemed so annoyed that she had to help us. We sat with our drinks empty until I finally flagged her down. Then she disappeared for about 15 – 20 minutes. While us and 3 other couples sat with empty drinks. When she finally returned I had to go to the bar to order. Needless to say I would not ever recommend this place. I’m in the industry I would never treat my costumers this way

If you like R&ab, hip hop, rap, then you do not want to go here. Although there is a touch tunes jukebox for the guests to play there own music. The owner will approach you and tell you that they do not want that kind of music being played. The reason being, he is afraid of a drive by shooting. LOL. Yes that is right, how naïve and close minded is that? Lol. So when and if you got here, please do not play any of the top 40. This may mean someone will drive by, roll their window down listen to the music and drive around the block and potentially shoot at the bar. What a schmuck.

ugh, the service sucks. Servers always seem like they’re annoyed that they have to take your order. They’re always under staffed. Seriously, usually there’s only one person working and it’s never a person who can handle that. I always regret going but when I do it’s only because the bars surrounding it were too busy. I was so excited when they first opened and I kept thinking it would improve but it’s only gotten worse.

My fiancé and I have been here several times and love it. It’s a small and friendly place with pretty good pub food and strong drinks. They are fairly low on staff, but it’s not a big place. There have been times we have had to wait to order more drinks/beer, but as long as you have good company, it shouldn’t be a bother. The tachos(tot nachos) are amazing as well as the Reuben. If you go and it’s busy, yes, you might have to sit at a table waiting to be cleared, but it hasn’t ever taken more than a couple minutes of sitting down that we are ordering. Have yet to find another Irish pub in the area, and Terrible Beauty in Renton is no longer around, so this is our new fave Irish place.

Good food. Service sucked. Sat at the bar and the waitress asked if we wanted another drink, then walked away and left her shift. Never got our order. Proceeded to sit down next to me and drink a whiskey. However, they didn’t charge us for our first drink, probably same waitress who didn’t start a check. The other bartender was awesome!

Living near downtown Puyallup I had been anxiously awaiting a visit to the TK Pub. So finally my legal age daughter and I decided to give it a whirl for lunch last week. We were greeted by a very friendly lady and found the small place welcoming. She pointed out the daily specials written on a larger chalk board. On Thurs.‘s(the day we went) Ruebens were the sand. special(8.00) which worked out great since we had pre-discussed having one given it was an Irish rest. and fan of Ruebens. Pitchers of Coors/Bud Light were only 7.00 that day as well. So we ordered a pitcher and decided to order one of the appetizers that was a combo. We had the one that offered breaded fried streak strips, fried green beans and fried gouda cheese bites… then we ordered one Rueben to share too. So the app. comes and it’s a nice size portion but it was 12 bucks so it should be. The steak bites were good, kinda reminded me of chicken fried steak. The green beans were also tasty and the cheese bites were a sharper twist on the typical mozz cheese but also good. There must have only been 3 of the small cheese bites though because I only had one and my daughter couldn’t have more than two as they were gone immediately upon arrival. Much more of the steak and beans. The only thing I really had an issue with was the fact that the dipping sauces we ordered(blue cheese and a chipolte ranch) didn’t overly hit the spot with any of the 3 items. Not sure what would have been a better choice… maybe a marinara and/or sweet chili sauce? The Rueben was good, we needed to put some dijon mustard on it though(personal preference for me to have mustard or horseradish on this type of sand.) as it only had a little thousand island dressing on it but did hit the spot. It had a nice dark bread that was slightly sweet, different but in a good way. It came with chips which we thought were suppose to have a salt/vinegar flair but tasted like cold plain chips so we doused some malt vinegar/salt on them ourselves… not great but Ok, we opted to leave most behind as the app. was still left. I would opt for tots or fries next time even though 2 bucks more… although that would put a reg. price Rueben at 14.00 which is a bit pricey. We had bought a Groupon to use which worked out well. Our bill had come to 29.00 so after the 20.00 credit it was only 9.00(plus the 10.00 prepaid for groupon), so 19.00 total plus tip. We were a little disappointed that the seafood combo on the app. menu had been removed as we had seen beforehand online. We would go back, although probably wouldn’t opt for that steak app. again since they have several to choose from that also sounded tasty. The server(possibly the owner) told us about Tues.‘s nights being Wino Bingo which sounds fun and Wed’s having a big cheeseburger for only 5 bucks after 5:00. All in all a pleasant experience.

I’ve been wanting to try TK’s since moving to the Downtown Puyallup area. I noticed they had a deal on Groupon, so I snagged that and my husband and I visited on a Saturday afternoon(1:30PM or so) for lunch. It was packed when we got there — literally the only table available was one that was piled with dishes from the last people that were there. Not a big deal — it’s a small place and I figured they would come clean it off fairly quickly once they saw someone new sit down. We sat there for about 15 – 20 minutes without anyone even greeting us or taking a drink order, or give us menus. We saw a few tables that had been there waiting to be served leave because of the wait — apparently they had been sitting there for a while too and didn’t get acknowledged. I decided I would just go grab some menus and give it a little more time… well it turns out there was only one server in the restaurant and she was having to handle the bar and the all the tables — I honestly felt bad for her. She was very nice and apologized — we let it go because we are nice, patient people and know how it goes. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip to share, as well as the shepards pie. Food was just okay, it was something we could’ve easily duplicated at home and probably made better. It looks like a really cool atmosphere and I am sure it would be the perfect place to watch the Sounders. Maybe we will give it another shot — but the management really needs to consider additional help on weekends so people aren’t sitting for upwards of 30 minutes waiting for their drink order to be taken.

A decent Irish pub in Washington state? I used to live in upstate NY where we had 20 Irish pubs in walking distance, so TK’s is heartwarming to me. Totally enjoyed watching the sounders there, enjoying some pub food and drinking a black and tan. Well be back!

Wow… had Corned beef dinner. Amazing. Two huge slices of corned beef ¼ inch thick and 4×8 «slices over best ever cabbage and tiny organic potatoes served with super soda bread! I had to take ¾ of it home. My friend raved over the fish and chip dinner. Too noisy for us at dinner time… but worth it.

Took 50 minutes from order to paying and leaving. I ordered take-out, fish & chips and turkey & swiss sandwich. The guy that ordered just after me ordered Irish stew that took about 30 minutes total for him. My 2 orders were not complicated but still took nearly an hour. In the mean time, I saw roughly 20 drinks made right in front of me at the bar while the bartender kept whining about having to shower and apply make-up which apparently made her late for work today. Time management is obviously not this place’s best attribute. Try somewhere else… like ANYwhere else.

Came here on a Saturday night around 10:00. First thing I noticed was the smell, it had kind of a moldy wet smell inside. We sat and got our initial drink order in and looked at the menu to see if they were still serving food that late but never got a chance to ask the server. It seemed like to get any of the servers attention you had to try and catch them as they walked by, we didn’t really get much service. Overall wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t anything special either

Appetizer Fried Calamari Over fried and it tasted partially burned. 2⁄5 Stars Corned Beef Sliders The bread was partially green with dye and toasted with butter and corned beef and cabbage and onion was sweet in the middle. 3⁄5 Stars Split Pea Soup This soup was okay. It had gritty feel around the mouth. Can taste the ham in the soup not overpowering. Salt content was in the low. 3⁄5 Stars Main Dish Shepherd’s Pie Oregano and sweet tomato sauce penetrates this dish. This taste like the Boston Style Pizza in Bremerton, WA covered with mashed potato with sprinkle with cheese. 3⁄5 Star«I was being nice. My dad felt that it was a 3.» Overall experience I wouldn’t come back for the same food, but to experience different foods they offer. Thank you for reading Blake and Doug Gracia

Gave it 3 stars to be generous. I hate to be a snob, but I expect in a full service bar for my drinks to be served in glasses not a plastic party cup. Found the service without any flaw or anything interesting. They also decided not to honor coupons due to Meekers Day but for the amount of business maybe they should have.

Beer. Check Food. Check Service… bring a something you can wave at the waitress to get their attention if you want to order anything after your initial order cause you will be forgotten quickly.

Im not one for faux pubbery, its a bit schmaltzy for my tasted, but this place has a very nice feel. Airy and open and clean and the barkeep was very chatty and nice to me and my wife! We’ll be back to try lunch!

4 stars for atmosphere tonight during Meeker Days. I’d hope though on a normal day I’d get some attention and not have to go begging for a drink and a plate of food… hell for that matter I’d hope on a normal day I’d get served my food in something other then a paper cup! Was here a couple years ago… loved the corned beef n cabbage. And enjoying this shepard’s pie(even though it’s in a paper cup) The wife had the surf n turf basket and she’s grubbing on the chips :-)

Yum! We had a Livingsocial voucher to use here, and we were very pleased. We loved our server(younger guy). When I see deals on restaurants I haven’t tried, it’s nice to have a discount so I can try the place with lowered risk. We’ll definitely be back, with or without a coupon. We ordered the Irish nachos to start. Their homemade potato chips with melted cheese, sour cream, green onions, tomatoes, olives, and chicken. Yum! Totally amazing. Duh. What could go wrong with that? We also ordered calamari fries, bangers and mash, and shepherd’s pie. All delicious! I would give 5 stars if they made more things from scratch. I was pretty sure the calamari fries were probably ordered from somewhere. No big deal, but making things in house is a way to go above and beyond with me. The next time we’re hungry in Puyallup, we’ll stop at TK’s Irish Pub for some yummy pub food.
