Bucks County Free Library

This library has a lot of resources and ongoing activities. Lots of stuff for kids to do throughout the year. Our two year old has had a lot of fun participating in the various activities, from the zoo visit to storytime and just playing with the dollhouse.
The downside is that they’re the most disorganized facility I can think of. We routinely (once or twice per month) get past due notices for books we’ve never checked out or returned four or six months prior. I can’t fathom how they manage to do that, but it’s a major inconvenience at best and costs us money at worst. Some of the employees are understanding, some look at us with obvious mistrust and don’t believe them when we tell them we’ve never checked out a book so we have to pay a fine on a book we’ve never had. I can’t understand how this happens, and no one we’ve spoke to there accepts that there’s a problem.
