My father, who had a Prudential life insurance poilicy, died in 2005. Upon his death I contacted Prudential with his social security number, policy number, and name. Prudential swore that they had no valid policy and I had no claim. I contacted them again in 2006. Then in 2007. Finally, at the end of 2012, they were able to locate their paperwork. Then they lost the check. Each time I tried to trace it, I was transferred to an outsourced call center in the Philippines where they couldn’t find anything and had no power to do anything. Today, I called Jonathan Graybill’s office(current vice president). But, more than seven years after my father’s death, I’m still waiting for Prudential to stop messing up.
