I had my hair cut by Kristi. She took her time talking to me about what I wanted (a long bob) and looked at the pictures I had on Pinterest although she already knew exactly what I wanted. She asked me first before she started cutting where I wanted the length to be in the front and the back. It was a big change for me as my hair was to the middle of my back. I would absolutely recommend her as a stylist. It’s probably the only perfect hair cut I’ve gotten in my life because she actually listened to me! I was only charged $ 42. Well worth the money I spent. The other girls are very sweet and friendly. I’ve had plenty of foundation matching done and it seems everyone there is willing to help at all times. I don’t feel any of the girls or guys are stuck up like the other reviews said. I must shop here at least twice a month. I love everything about Ulta and I really love my lob!

This is my favorite Ulta in the area! I haven’t experienced their salon services only the retail experience.
The staff is very friendly and everytime I couldn’t find something or it was not on the shelf. They will go in the back and check for me. I wanted to purchase their self tanner and they were out and the manager wrote me a rain check no problems. They also let me split orders to use two coupons and save more money! My mom and I came in for her birthday gift and they were out of the mascara and she wanted that and not eyeliner, they let he come back and get the mascara when it came in. I also made a purchase that got a free bag, which they were out of so they subsituted a big beach cooler instead.
The only problem I have here is that i spend too much money!

I had a rather unfortunate experience at this locations salon. I brought my coupon for a $ 60 cut and color. I gave this to the lady at the beginning of my appointment.
So she starts to bleach my hair for the sections I wanted lighter. Then leaves me under the dryer so she can go smoke. 45 minutes later she comes back in, the hair dryer had been beeping for the last 15 of it.
She didn’t even apologize for it. When she removes the foil my hair is FRIED. It’s completely corn white and frizz to the point of no return. She finishes dying and cutting my hair, complaining about how long my hair is (it’s to the base of my back, it’s not that long.)
The whole process (with her smoke breaks) took 3.5 hours.
Then she tells me how much I owe. $ 182 plus her tip.
WHAT?! I complain, telling her I have my coupon PLUS her word saying it would cost $ 60 because of the special.
She tells me that because I didn’t call her beforehand telling her how long my hair is that it will cost longer. I’m sorry but my hair is very thin, whenever I dye it at home it only takes 1 box. Not 20.
So I paid the 182. And later disputed it over the phone.
Within one week my hair turned completely a greenish rust color.
I called ulta corporate explaining what had happened. I sent pictures. I sent them my receipts, a picture of my hair (before and after dye job), and pictures of my coupon.
They couldn’t work with my because they didn’t know how to handle the situation.
Save your hair! Don’t go to ulta!

I like Ulta and I like there products good selection (usually) I’ve had a few times where things have been sold out which I understand. But in general great make-​up! The reason I’m giving 3 stars is the employees, they are truly few and far between in this store and not generally knowledgable about brands/​products. Unfortunately I feel like I know a lot more then they do. I’ve been using a lot of these brands/​products for a long time.

We go here all the time to look at make-​up mostly and to get some acne products for my brother and I. When I was first introduced with makeup, I came here and they did an amazing job showing me the right things for my type of skin. The service there is ALWAYS friendly and couldn’t get any better.
The only thing I would have to complain about is when we found out the product we used all the time was being discontinued. So, we asked a lady there that was suppose to be a type of special person that knew a lot about skin and acne. She observed my brother’s skin and said that his skin was terrible, had horrible acne. She made my mom buy a small little bottle that is the size of my thumb for $ 20 and made an appointment for him. After my mom didn’t feel so secure with the lady we went to a dermatologist instead and it turned out that it wasn’t acne. The doctor took one look at his face and knew right away it was eczema. The women there had no idea what she was talking about.
