Everything looks squares here. Lights, shapes of the shops, etc… Anyway, it’s really nice! I found a much better deal than Navy exchange. Coach, MK, etc… Bags especially. Many cashiers and no lines. They have extra 25% off at some areas now. I should check this great exchange more often;)

Huge empty aisle. No furniture to speak of. For such a huge store, they have so few products. The gun counter has very few pistols and they never have a sale, unlike Ft. Belvoir. Ammo is high priced and they act like they are doing you a favor by letting you look at a gun. No holsters, very small selection of hearing protection. While I was standing there, one of the employees says to another customer«Are you hear to buy it»? He then goes in the back and brings out one of the new .45 Colts. Other customers including myself, didn’t even know the gun was available because it was all a hook up. I will never shop at this gun counter again.

Very nice! Employees were always friendly and we were able to get things a lot cheaper than certain places off base.

wow, first off, huge base… it took us a while to get to the main exchange. We kept wondering if we were on the right path. The direction is easy though: take the main road straight down to the other end of the base and you’ll find it near a gas station and a McDonalds. Also, I didn’t have a problem with rudeness or unpleasant attitudes. It just seemed like going to any other exchange. Nothing better, nothing worse in terms of customer service. The toy selection however was SMALLER. I wish they had more toys like camp pendleton, ca. now THAT is an awesome 5 star exchange.

This place is huge! One of the larger military exchanges I have ever visited. They have a good selection of everything, from men’s, women’s and children’s clothing to a wide array of perfumes and colognes, to shoes, to jewelery and electronics, patio furniture, pet supplies, a cell phone kiosk … A food court is located just inside the main entrance, clock and jewelery repair just inside the store, ITT ticketing and car rental by the cash registers. Everyone I encountered was friendly and accommodating.

The Quantico commissary is outstanding. I had ordered two fresh hams at Fort Myer Commissary about two weeks before a big Christmas party celebration. Two days before pick up, Fort Myer commissary people called me to tell me that they could not provide the hams. The only commissary that had two fresh hams in the Washington-DC Metro area was QUANTICO. Ft Myer commissary people were kind enough to call Quantico and reserve them for me. I rushed there and picked them up. My dinner party was saved by QUANTICO. A retired-Army Special Forces officer salutes you: Semper fi and De Oppressor Liber.

Smallest exchange I’ve been to on a base that is considered ‘the crossroads of the Marine Corps’. The staff come off as they don’t really care for the job they have. Quantico as a whole is just a base you want to stay away from. Terrible place to work when it’s filled with a bunch of senior enlisted and officers.

I prefer this Exchange over Fort Meade or Andrews. The prices are 10−15% cheaper on the same items found at other exchanges. The selection is so much better! The drive is worth it for the savings.

The exchange at Quantico is nice, but the staff is some of the rudest, least smart staff I’ve met anywhere. They are unhelpful and just don’t «get it». Though I find that staff at most exchanges are rude, the ones at Quantico are the worst. However, the exchange itself is clean and neat and feels higher-end the some other ones(hello, Fort Belvoir and Fort Myer). It has a good selection of clothing, shoes, purses, cosmetics, electronics, and office supplies. Per usual, toiletries are cheaper at the commissary. There’s a tailor, a Starbucks, and a food court, but the food court is lame(Taco del Mar, Papa John’s, Subway). You are better off eating at McDonald’s if you don’t want to leave post or go into QTown.
