The Marine Corps unit my father was with in Vietnam, Charlie Battery 1/​13, 5th Marine Division, had some Marines that were writing a unit history. I visited in September 2014 AD to drop off the book they wrote. I also helped them out with the book and worked with one of the Archivists here for 5 years — she was fantastic! If you need to do some research on anything related to the United States Marine Corps, check this place out! They also have a great online presence.
This location houses the Alfred M. Gray Marine Corps Research Center, Archives and Special Collections and a huge library.
