LOVE this place. Not only does it hold childhood memories for me but they have some tasty milkshakes!

great little drive in in Quarryville, PA. soft ice cream, shakes and basic burgers, etc. Worth a stop if you are in town. Open in the spring/summer/fall only

This little ice cream and comfort food shack has been the local mecca for after the game ice cream cones for little league teams since I can remember. This is one of the places I miss most after moving to NC six years ago. Luckily my entire family still lives in the area, so every time I come home in the summer(it’s closed in the winter), I have to hit up Dottie’s. I remember coming here after track practice or meets in high school for a peanut butter cup cyclone(like a DQ blizzard). My all time favorite, and what keeps me coming back, is the pizza burger(sauce, no onions) and fries. Yes, it’s greasy and full of FAT, but I can’t think of anywhere better to waste my calories:-) Bring cash, because that’s all they accept… and lots of it, because it’s fairly pricey, but worth it!

if anyone knew what went on behind the counter at dottie’s you would never eat there. trust me. the place is roach infested, dirty, and just plain disgusting. lets put it this way, would you eat something that fell onto the ground and then put back on the fryer to be cooked? would you eat something that someone spit into? i live in the southern end near this place and belive you me, i would never eat there if it was the last place on is suprising what goes on when the customer cannot see what is being done. the board of health ought to shut them down. honestly i would not even give them one star.
