This place has the best tacos ever. Greatly priced and great service. Everytime I come here I have always had a positive experience since high school. The food was always prepared in a timely manner and its always good. I love this food and will always come here. So great and the customer service is excellent. I enjoy the experience everytime and will come back many more times to come. Good food. Good prices.

If I could give zero stars I would… I have been a huge fan of this place since moving to Quartz Hill several years ago. With the exception of them being extremely slow, I really have had no other complaints until now. I called tonight to place an order over the phone, like I normally do, and am told it will be 20 minutes. Knowing that their twenty minutes is more like 30, I give them some extra time. I walk in and there’s two people ahead of me who have all ready ordered. I stand at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for the young lady to come help. When she finally comes out from the kitchen she tells me that she has not placed my order because they are out of al pastor… I waited 45 minutes to get food for my family and had I chose to order something else God knows how much longer I would have waited. The young lady then says I tried to call you… Um how? I didn’t give you my phone number when I ordered and have no missed calls on my cell. That being said i walked out and I won’t be back. Apparently my time is not as important as theirs so I’ll go somewhere else like El Toreo where you call and your order is ready in 15 minutes.

This place is hit or miss, sometimes I get old burnt meat with my tacos, it’s really good when it’s fresh but 2⁄4 times that I go I end up getting old food, it’s usually my go to place when I don’t feel like driving all the way to east Palmdale for good tacos considering it’s right on the Corner of my street, customer service is great but they could use improvement on their food

Love this place. House made hot sauce is so good and they are always very friendly. Good prices for the amount and quality of food you get. One girl spoke great English also which is a plus for people like me who don’t speak Spanish.

The only good taco spot in Quartz Hill. Came in late and the staff was more than kind and the food was excellent. Didn’t try the pizza but I think the tacos are the main attraction. Definitely coming back for more

Another hole in the wall place I decided to try in Quartz Hill-AV area. It was very pleasant. Went today, on Monday and they had 99cent tacos any meat you want also got a classic burrito was only $ 4.00. Thought it was going to be small cause I didn’t wanna pay extra $ 2.00 for all meat, cause this was my first experience here. They bring you your food, give you free chips and nice salsa bar brings more flavor to the burrito also tacos. But honestly you really don’t need more flavor unless you’re a giant salsa fan like myself. Overall very good experience and server was very nice. Drinks are also only 1.25 and 25¢ more for a large. Love the environment and the people. Definitely going to show more people this place.

Atmosphere: Small hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The place seem old and worn out with an awkward layout. They also keep the temperature very warm. Food: I had the soft tacos with steak. My order came with a side of beans and rice. Food seemed authentic. However, the steak was dry — almost like it was made before, refrigerated and reheated. The beans and rice were good. The soda I ordered was more ice than soda. Chips were excellent with the right proportion of salt. The salsa was home made and excellent as well. I debated whether to rate this place 2 or 3 stars. Then I asked myself: Would you try this place again? Probably not — so 2 stars it is.

Service was great. Nachos were ginormous. Nice little hole in the wall. Was a little disappointed with my previous order of a chicken torta cause it was small diced grilled chicken and the chicken kept falling out. Great little family business. Who knew lime and water is so much better than lemon and water. Luv it! I buy lime for my waters now! Awesome fresh salsa.

Do not eat here. That’s my advice. Go down the street to Don Juan’s for real food and excellent customer service. I ordered the spicy wings, fries, carne asada burrito and what I got were chicken wings drenched in ketchup, mushy day old fries, and a dried up burrito full of beans, rice and a few pieces of meat. Worst food I have ever tasted. How can any restaurant sell food like that? I’m embarrassed for them! I called to let them know and the girl working the counter just giggled and told me she would let the kitchen staff know. I will not be back, and will be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

When I first moved to Quartz Hill tried Classico’s 2013. It was the best! Last 2 times I was there food was absolutely horrible. Beef was over cooked, tacos were dry. What happened? New cooks?

Great authentic, Mexican food! No commercial restaurant food served here. Prices are very affordable. I love the soups and street tacos. You won’t find linen table clothes or candles here. This«hole in the wall»(as it’s been referred to several times) is just a step up from a walk up fast food stand, but you can always get it to go if atmosphere is important.

Meeeeeehhhh– stay away from the pizza it is completely awful. Took two bites and threw it away. My husband wouldn’t even eat it. Who messes up pizza? I am a rigatonys girl for life. Stick to the tacos! The rice and beans were very dry and flavorless. Hard shell tacos and street tacos are decent and you can’t beat the price. It’s no mi ranchito but if you don’t feel like driving its ok to have around. It’s in a crappy shopping center, beware of bums and tweakers. The place is old but clean. I did see a huge vacuum sealed hunk of raw meat in the sink with water running over it. Kiiiinda turned me off. Never got sick.

Ok so I’ve been eating here for about 2 years now. Overall their Mexican good is pretty good considering the price. The burritos are decent. They are big and and filling. One time I found a hair in my burrito so be cautious. Their calzone used to be really really good. I’d recommend it all the time until they stopped using ricotta cheese and still served them. I was very disappointed. I’m assuming they changed cooks. Or are cutting down but hopefully they fix that. Their tortas are good. Pizza is like a last resort thing to fill a craving. Had the fish taco and it took me about a minute to find the fish. It was a joke. Don’t get anything American here. Stick to the Mexican and the calzone but make sure they put ricotta. Think if this place as Primos cheaper cousin.

Classico taco y pizza… Dispite your name you’re absolutely awesome. I think it’s a bad thing to mix Mexican food with pizza in the business name but damn this stuff doesn’t matter when your food speaks for itself. I’ve come here multiple times and have had consistent service and food quality that just exceeds much of the other fast food Mexican restaurants in town… What to get: hard shell carnitas or asada taco. This is a meal in itself, try to eat two if you dare. Torta is good too. Carnitas asada too. Fresh and good. Protip: salsa bar has a oil infused chili that is awesome. Put as much of that stuff on your food as possible. Try to smuggle some out for yourself too. Viva taco y pizza!!!

In town for the day to judge a ballroom dance competition, I went on Unilocal and chose this place because it had 4 ½ stars; I have to admit, though, that when I finally found it tucked back almost out of sight in a wannabe strip mall, I almost turned tail and skedaddled! The exterior, hell, the interior as well, wasn’t particularly inspiring; the fact that no one inside appeared to speak English was much more reassuring. Whether it was good or not, at least I could be certain it would be authentic! I ordered the two taco special with rice, beans, and a drink for $ 4.99.(individual tacos are $ 1.50 each). I ordered one Asada and one al pastor so that I could review both. The beans looked bland but had a heartiness to them as if they been cooked with some type of meat. If my Spamish was better I would have asked. The rice was a little bland in comparison. The waitress brought chips that seemed fresh with just the right amount of salt on them. The salsa bar held 6 types of salsa, limes, radishes, and various pickled veggies so it covered all the bases The Asada was a bit chewy, but both meats had a nice balance of spices and no fat or gristle on either of them, so I was quite pleased with the meal as a whole. I’d definitely recommend this place to lovers of authentic Mexican food that don’t feel the need for all the«frills» offered by sit down restaurants.
