The food here was awesome! Nicole was our server and the nicest person to have taken care of us. I had the fish and chips that was so light and moist, unbelievable. He had the bacon bourbon cheeseburger that was perfectly seasoned ans juicy. Will definitely come again! GREATJOB!

Atmosphere is super cozy and the staff have wonderful energy-polite, fun, and attentive. Perfect for families or individuals. Food is consistantly good! Great wings and nacho tater tots work very well with their ten different beers on tap. Our waitress Amy was fantastic!!!

Fish n chips special is fantastic. Was perfectly fried leaving crispy coating and plated perfectly to prevent the normal soggy under side in fried fish. Homemade tartar sauce was impressive and slaw n curly fries we great. Also had lobster mac n cheese which was burst perfect balance of flavor which was not too hearty or overwelming. Great selection of draft beers, great variety and being in Vermont did not disappoint on good selection of big IPAs.

Wonderful little place next to Quechee gorge. Good selection of craft beers on tap, welcoming and attentive staff and good atmosphere. Prices are a little on the steep side but the quality of the food and the portion size makes up for it. I would definitely stop in for a drink and an appetizer when in the area. Update: still the same quality food and the owner is highly involved in the business. Well worth a stop when in the area.

We ate here on Valentine’s Day with the family. The food was amazing and the choices were varied but delicious. I got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and the cutlet was huge and didn’t fit the bun. The«Load them up Tots» were a must have. The beer selection was awesome. Was it loud — yes. Was it crowded– yes. But was it worth it — absolutely. It is a pub, people. It is going to be loud and crowded. If that isn’t for you– don’t go. But don’t give them a bad review because it was loud, crowded or a kid was crying. We loved it and we can’t wait to go again the next time we go up to ski. Highly recommended.

Tried to come for a late lunch. We called ahead and were told that the kitchen was closed to be flipped to dinner but they would start again at 3pm. It would be a bit of a wait given when we called but we decided it would be worth it. Piled into the car and drove 25 minutes only find out when we got there that the kitchen wouldn’t be opening again until 4 pm. Extremely disappointed.

Excellent stop right off Rt 4& I-89 on way to Killington for reasonable dinner, good beer and local cocktails and live music. Little wait and doesn’t feel crowded.

Great food, fantastic staff. Food is a bit pricey, but in line with surrounding options. The décor is hip and cozy, and there are big TVs for sports watching while eating at the bar. We caught the beginning of Thursday trivia once, and intend to make it back for another night.

Load it up tots is worth every morsel(calorie) I’d go back just for those and some cold adult beverages Live music was pleasant while we enjoyed some burgers, salmon and salad. We were all fully satisfied with our meals. Good quality and portions. Wish our waitress was more attentive. It was a nice treat for the chefs to deliver our meals. Only complaint is waiting 30 min to put in our meal order and having to ask frequently for drinks to be reordered.

The food was very good, the service was good, what was not so good was the shrieking child in the booth behind us and the complete lack of concern by management for all the other guests in the pub area. Yes, I understand this is a family friendly place, yes we decided to sit in the pub and not the dining room, but when one of your«littles» is shrieking repeatedly a quiet discreet word to the parents from the staff is not inappropriate. They offered to reseat us, we declined as the hostess gave the impression that the issue would be addressed. Did they plan on reseating all of the guests within earshot? Not practical. Thanks for the free coffee…

Walked in and greeted right away and seated. Our waiter Amy told us she’d be right with us(it was a little busy so happy she took the time to acknowledge us) just enough time to find our drinks. We ordered wings for appetizer. Steaming hot, and we chose to go with Amy’s favorite. They were not only tasty but fresh and just really good. They have multiple beers on tap so they will most likely have what you want. Great place overall.

Very friendly staff, very clean, great food. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was awesome and my wife a chicken salad. The quality was wonderful and the waitresses were very accommodating to our two small kids. 2 thumbs way up!

Great vibes all around! We sat at the bar on a Saturday night. Ordered the dry rub one pound wings(cayenne garlic rub) was phenomenal. It is pricey for bar food but the customer service is excellent so that’s why you pay a little more for the food there. We had a few Switchbacks and apps and it was a fun evening to bring family or friends. Their specials were decent included items like Ribeye steaks, burgers and more! Definitely a high end menu for a local bar place!

Barkeeps Kevin & Jeff — they are beer-all-knowing and genuine authentic people. Had the Ale House Queso dip — perfect for a chilly night. Great atmosphere, very cool & relaxed vibe, great New England barns on the walls from regional photographer John Vose. Friendly comfy place to «while away» many hours!

After a long 2.5 hour drive from NY, this was a welcome oasis on an otherwise endless winding road of nothing but trees and mountains — and while both our dinners were quite enjoyable, the most memorable part of the meal was dessert: s’mores pie. Served in a cast iron skillet, it was hot, gooey, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.

I’m glad Quechee has a spot like this and I hope it does well. It was hopping the night we were there and they managed pretty well. The service was good but the food was just mediocre. We both ordered the chicken schnitzel after the reviews and were underwhelmed. Also on the negative, it was super noisy. But, there were lots of big groups in for dinner… Not sure there’s much to do about that. We will be back and try some other things off the menu. Glad it’s there…

My friend and I went to the Public House for their soft opening last. So, with that in mind, here are my thoughts: –we waited quite some time for a table –when we got to the table, the waitress was cute and nice. We ordered a bottle of wine and a stuffed mushroom app right away. –when the wine came, the waitress asked if we wanted her to open the bottle or if we wanted to open it on our own. Neither of us had been asked that before, so we opened it ourselves. We wondered if the waitress wasn’t sure how to do it? Anyway, no big deal. –our app took a little extra time to come out, but the restaurant was pretty slammed. The stuffed mushrooms were good, but not great, and the portion was small. –my friend and I ordered two meals and shared them. Both were great! My friend thought the swordfish was a little dry, but I thought it was perfect — you can’t please everybody when it comes to fish. The place looked clean, and the staff looked clean and happy. I liked the general ambience but I did find it very loud. We sat in a corner of the dining room and could barely hear each other. Overall, a good experience. Definitely a couple things to work on, but I’d ever very interested in going back in a month or so to see if they improve.

Opening Night. Full house. New owners and staff know how to make you feel at home. Comfort food, Simple and elegant. Try the chicken schnitzel and mash from South Carolina, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and seasoned to perfection. Squash was cooked perfectly. Real mashed potatoes… so good. Buffalo chicken wings were tender and soulful. Tater tots melted in your mouth with an assortment of toppings; all fresh. Staff was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Just the right balance of being there when you needed something, while not being intrusive. Quechee has been waiting a long time to have our equivalent of London’s Gastro-Pub. Locals will love it and keep coming back — out of towners will feel right at home and won’t wNt to leave Congratulations to everyone on the team bodacious my awesome‼
