My husband and I took a half-​day jeep tour. It was a super experience. Carl is extremely concerned about desert safety and carefully explained the use of the GPS units for tracking and reporting the tour progress. He talked knowledgeably about the desert, the history and stories about the mining in the area. We also saw the mine wagon tracks that were made when ore wagons traveled from the Silver King mine to old Pinal City outside Superior, AZ; and several areas where there were foundations belonging to settlements that used to be. He asked what we were interested in seeing, and made sure to schedule time for those.

This is the best tour EVER! Our tour guide Carl is a true expert historian about the area around the Superstition Mountians, gold and silver mining, and the old west! We took a ½ day tour recently and saw up close and personal the Sonoran Desert, Stage Coach tracks, super old cemetary, Native American caves, and more AND stayed on dirt roads and dry creek beds the entire time! We felt very safe with his state of the art GPS safety procedures — never worried about getting lost. The jeep was fantastic, comfortable and clean and the 4 wheel driving skills were expectional. Over all a really great experience.
