It’s got it’s own wonderful divey feel. I’m sure if I stayed around a while I would have met some interesting characters

Great bartenders, always a fun time when I’m there. Jukebox selections from the patrons is diverse. Beer is always cold. My favorite dive bar in queens.

Other than being a gaywad who bashes the great music of John Michael Montgomery, Jimbo C. provides a spot-​on review. He left one thing out, though: the incredible smell of cat piss.

Decent prices but thats about it. Burke’s seems to cater to Irish immigrants and the horrid music they enjoy ex: Shania Twain, Honky Tonk… need I go on. Place is a bit uncleanly and most of the bartenders are not professional as they only selectively give buybacks even when tipped well. Crowd in here seems to feel they own the place so your best bet is get yourself one cheap beer and get out of this dump.
