The Valet Laundry

They are a good competitor to M&J in Ridgewood which you would end up paying 2−3x as much for the same service level and per pound, The Valet has a lower minimum weight as well. Lately our building laundry has been a pain because more people are using it (3 washing machines for like 100 people who all like to let their clothes pile up for weeks and monopolize all 3 machines at once) and it’s a real hassle. No busy professional in the NYC area has 4 hours to waste on the weekend staying inside (unless you want to) and going back and forth downstairs to check if machines are available or not. Especially if you are a parent with like 2 kids (Personally I don’t have any and don’t know how they endure it) and they have xtra curricular activities on the weekend and what not.
Anyways the best part is they communicate when delays happen and respond promptly to any inquiries. Note that I have only used the wash and fold and haven’t used the Dry Cleaning service for them yet, so the review applies for wash and fold only.
To save money eventually I’ll do a physical pick up and drop off by a local provider by me, until then I’ll continue with The Valet!

Friendly and helpful service.
Had an issue with turnaround time for delivery since pickup is around the clock — I need my items back by 2pm the following day and was first told an additional $ 5 fee but the owner personally called to fix this issue so I decided to give it a try. They delivered my clothes at 1pm today and they smell great. $.99 is somewhat high per pound, but the service piece made me try them out. If you’re in a crunch and need prompt service, definitely give them a try.

Super friendly and professional service. I always receive clean, fresh laundry. If there are any changes, I get a prompt text notification. It really enhances to the quality of life factor to know I don’t have to spend an entire afternoon doing my laundry. I can’t recommend this business enough! Try them for a week and you will see a difference.

I’ve been using this service for a few weeks ! They are new and I’m so glad I found them. Always reliable and my clothes never come back damaged. If there are any changes in your delivery time or pick up, they always let you know. I’m going to start giving them my dry cleaning as well. Delivery guy is very sweet and professional! Will continue to give them business XO.
