the best little hardware store any village could ask for! Open well after most hardware stores are — and on Sundays also! If they don’t have it, they will order it for you. Check out their $ 1 bin.

Always have what we need, even obscure fuses and HVAC stuff! Plus they helped sponsor the Quilcene-Brinnon garden Club display at the Quilcene fair, that was great of them. A great local resource.

Leonard and his able crew are ready to assist you with most anything hardware. If they don’t have it, it’s likely they will be happy to order it for you. It’s a central hub for this little town and they improved the store from the last owner that I always thought was on Federal witness protection since the shelves were almost bare and he seemed totally disinterested in helping. If you are lucky one of Len’s children will be bopping around or his lovely wife who are all involved in this family-owned store. Stop by and buy something to support this enterprise. LOcal is good.

Though I actually haven’t been in Henery’s since it changed hands and became Henery’s, this particular hardware store has been an amazing resource for my family for as long as they have lived in Quilcene. My father has had to wake the owners or simply track them down in order to open the small store way too many times to even remember. When the pipes freeze or burst, when the electricity randomly goes out, when the toilet just mysteriously stops working, the hardware store has always been there so my father can pretend he’s the«Tim ‘the tool man’ Taylor» of the Olympic Peninsula. Plus, these guys always know everything that is going on and everyone it may be happening to. You need scoop? Check with the proprietors or patrons of Henery’s. They could probably hook you up. I know because my father’s a regular and he’s usually hepped to what is going on up in his ‘hood.
