This review is about RODNEY! He is the best. First of all, he is the best because he was a great help, but he also smells great!
This morning my car wouldn’t start, luckily was able to get a jump. It wasn’t the typical left a light on, car is dead in the morning thing either. It made a weird ticking sound when I tried to turn the car on and the radio would turn on still. I knew my battery was reaching the end of it’s life after 4 wonderful years so I assumed I needed a new one.
Stopped by Advance Auto at 8:30AM but there was only one person working so they were not able to do the complimentary install but said I could come back after 1PM. I came back around 3PM and was immediately assisted. Rodney explained very clearly the differences between the various battery options, why one is more expensive, the benefits, etc. I also needed to replace a headlight so he grabbed that for me as well. We went out to my car to test the current battery and he told me I needed a new one so he started to replace that while I started to read the owner’s manual on how to replace the headlight. I didn’t need the owner’s manual because he immediately started to help me with that too! I like to know how to do simple things to my car, like replace a headlight, and he happily answered all of my questions (at least he seemed happy to do it!).
I’ll be going back to Advance Auto and asking for Rodney for any future car part & supply needs that I have.

employees are helpful

When you enter this store, an employee is there to offer you help for what your looking for. I don’t waste any time searching the store for an item, I go to the cashier/​employee and ask him or her to look up what I am looking for. Also they show me what they have and the different prices for the item I want to purchase. Advance Auto wants your business and will go out of there way to help you get the right part for your car .My windshield washer hose broke and all I did is say that, and the staff brought me over to where the items I needed were and said I’ll need this, this, and this. I went and repaired my broken hose and it took all of 10 mins, thanks to getting the right parts .They’re prices are competitive, and unless it’s a special item, they can order it and you get it in a couple days. An Autozone is opening closer to me, and I’ll have to check it out and see what it’s like to shop there. I sometimes bring my registration with me if I need an important part that requires more info than just a 2003 Ford Taurus. Advanced Auto is a stand up store and never hesitate or worry about shopping there !!
