Speaking for my own experience, this is as good as it gets. I was not a regular patient of Dr. Ding, but I did go to her to have a lingual retainer wire repaired after my original orthodontist refused to attempt it. Being that it has been almost ten years since my orthodontic treatment was completed, I’m now at the point where keeping the teeth from migrating is the major concern. The staff here were friendly and polite, they took excellent care of me, and better still, the repair was done quickly and well. She used a technique I had not seen before involving floss to hold the wire against the lingual surface, which reduces the overall profile of the bonded retainer and minimizes slack in the wire. The first repair was done a year ago, and it’s still in perfect condition! She recommended that I wear an essix retainer to protect it, which I have been doing, but I’ve never had a bonded retainer last this long without any signs of wear, and I call that impressive.

I went to this place because my dentist recommended me it. I wanted good teeth and I have crowding next to my two front teeth. But when I went in the assistants found that I had cross bites on my molars so it was a good thing I went. It’s normally a place for children but since I’m in that weird age gap I went there and it was close to home so why not. The check in process is fast and the lady usually does it for me. My first time there the staff was super friendly and greeted with a big smile, a smile I wish for. I have been going there since July 2015 and every time they don’t disappoint. I thought I would have the same assistant, Lisa but they decide to change it around. One time I forgot to make a next appointment and just left after my current appointment and one of them chased after me outside(thank god she did haha). Dr. Ding, the doctor who runs the whole place is super friendly to the kids and always treats them with respect and explains things so there’s no confusion(the other staff does this as well). Last week my brother went in for an emergency because one of his wires was poking him so we went in without an appointment and the wait was only about 20 – 30 minutes, nothing too draining. It’s a good place for your kids and even for an adult like me who is going there for my braces.

We were recommended here by our family dentist for braces for the kids. My first child came here and it has been so many years(he is now a senior in high school, braces were placed in 6th grade). It was convenient because it was across from his middle school. The staff are friendly. My daughter’s turn. I maintained 2 dental insurance from 2 different employers just so it is covered. Mind you, I have paid $ 6000.00 each child and insurance only covers $ 2000.00. My daughter’s treatment started in November of that year. I then left my other job late April of the following year and since treatment started last year, I never thought of it. Well them the insurance was not covered because they placed the braces in January and therefore I have not been with that insurance for a good chunk of the year so it was declined. I was furious but what can I do, the braces are there coz they told me about it July of that year. So I ended up using all of my flexible spending account money. They do not explain to you that inspite of the X-rays, dividers and pulling of extra teeth, it isn’t «treatment» time yet. Here we are sitting in the office now and they are declining to do the braces for my son. Saturday early morning. They said I need to follow a treatment plan payment. It is 5900 after 5%discount whatever. Both my insurance and my husband’s pay 1500 each. I told them we will pay via the flexible spending account for next year coz we have used ours this year for glasses(we are all blind Hahahah). As i plan these things— glasses, braces or any major medical expense coz they’re expensive to be covered my flex Accounts, I said I can pay them next year January when the money becomes available in my account. They said no and we cannot do that. I said this is not good coz we have been with them for a long time and I have always paid inspite of the craziness that happens with my daughter’s payment. Since the dividers were already placed(pain, experienced) I asked them to remove it. They said ok, then they removed it. While I was waiting for my son to come back the office manager came and said hey are working something out. So, 3 kids— $ 18000.00 in total and they refuse to let me pay in 3 months with a Flex Account which was the hole point of having that account. So I just finished my conversation with the new office manager(Rose the old one who still works there is awesome). She keeps saying she understands and nothing else comes out of her mouth. She is not versed with customer service coz she never once apologized and kept repeating g it is office policy and she cannot do anything. I then told her I deal with customer service all the time and gave her a lecture of the population of Quincy where her clinic is and I told her she can not thrive if her attitude is not focused in customer service as well. If there was a rating for no star, I would give it to them. After all these years with them, the new owners do not deserve my business. I’m sure she’s just going to shrug off coz I am just one, I am warning you, this new management is awful— non communicative of issues as well as bad customer service. I hope they learn their lesson and realize their mistake, otherwise this isn’t going to thrive. I know there’s. It a lot of ortho options in Quincy but be very cautious if you decide to be with this company. But, why go there? Bad customer service, not the best facility(no parking) mediocre service. No reason to go to align, and not just because I am upset at this point.
