The food here is really good but the customer service is TERRIBLE. I have never received my food on time. Delivery consistently takes over an hour and the food always arrives cold. Also, don’t ever order through grubhub because Brother’s always loses the order. This happened so many times that I complained and asked for a refund after waiting 2 hours for a delivery. I put the request in on 2⁄22 and I still have not heard back from them. Awful.

Rumor had it that Brother’s Roast Beef was a good place for a roast beef sandwich. What I hadn’t known was that it was located all the way on the other side of Quincy, past City Hall! Brother’s resembles your traditional pizza take out shop, with a counter you order at and a few tables that you might elect to dine in at. I ended up getting the Super Beef $ 7.35 because it came with on an onion roll. It was a rather large sandwich. I ended up eating just over half. I couldn’t resist an order of their onion rings as well and having talked my DCs into sharing it, we opted for the large at $ 5.75 over the $ 4.45 medium. But now we know better. The large was HUGE. The rings themselves were light and crisp, with real onion flavor pleasantly apparent. It was good, but we probably would still have had left over if we had gotten the medium instead.

This place is awesome! Their food is really good. They are very nice in the restaurant. The delivery guy is very cool. Most of the time delivery takes a while, but it’s worth the wait! I usually get the steak bomb sub. I’ve also had the steak bomb calzone, chicken bomb sub, and lasagna. The tiramisu is amazing! My roommate gets the Greek salad and baklava every time we order. I have no complaints even with the delivery times. SOGOOD!!!

I would love to give this 0 stars! I have ordered from here before but today will be the last. I ordered a chicken dinner and TWICE they came back with the wrong soggy and buttery bread chicken sandwich when I ordered a grilled chicken dinner. When I called back the manager was VERY Rude blocked my number and refused to deliver what I ordered and took my money. The chicken salad sandwich was filled with mayo, fake chicken chunks and absolutely no flavor. Worst customer service in all of Quincy DONOTORDER from here!!!

I agree with some of the previous reviews. Some foods they do very well and some, eh. Calzones are excellent, steak and cheese pretty good. I would stick with the standard pizza type stuff If I was going to order from them. The delivery time frame they quote is often way off… like, 30 min late sometimes.

Overall i love the food here. 2 exceptions though Pizza… So so… Tuna– the worst i have ever had in my life… Really bad. Not white at all. Like. Gray color. And extremely fishy tasting. Threw it out after one bite. Calzones are excellent. Ham n cheese subs are excellent. The roast beef sandwiches are fantastic and probably the best south of Boston.

While the food is pretty decent, the service is shetty. The first few times I went they took forever and I didn’t really mind because the food is better than my regular pizza spot closer to my house. And, even though I would order in advance, the folks still took forever to get my order. The staff is also not so nice. I’m not sure if its a cultural thing or what? Anyways, last night my order took 2 hours! I’m about a 10 minute walk from this place. There was a problem with my order apparently and they couldnt think of the best customer service way to handle the situation, so they just didnt handle it at all. No call. No refund. No discount. No nothing. Never apologetic. Just blah. I think I am going to just stick to my usual, bland pizza dude. He is the nicest guy. Pizza and sammiches is meh, but customer service is A1. 5 star pizza on Granite it is!

Brothers is normally my go-to for delivery but I had a bad experience today! I ordered curly fries but they gave me steak fries. I also ordered a tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread and there was a stupid amount of tuna on the sandwich! Gross!

This is, honest to god, the worst take out ive ever gotten. I ordered a burrito and Im almost inclined to think they got the order wrong. its a rap of shredded lettuced, chicken and tomato and buckets of mayo. no cheese. no beans. and MAYO? absolutely awful, a waste of money, i had to throw it out it was so bad.

This place is awful. First I got a call from some woman on the phone asking me about my order because SHE could not understand it. I did the order online through Unilocal… so there should be little confusion because it’s all right there in front of you. Anyway, there was some sort of up charge on a food item on my order so I just gave her my complete order and when I was done she told me I needed to call to add the up charge. She made it seem like my fault that she was confused and was really rude. So I called them back to cancel my order ANDTHEYNEVERCANCELLEDIT. So I got charged and now I have to fight to get my money back all because this woman couldn’t do her job. If there was a lower score I would give it.

I have had issues with my food the past couple of times that we ordered. Last week, they forgot an item and then had to wait over a half hour for them to send the driver back with the item. Gave them another shot last night and waited an hour and a half for our food to arrive. Called and was told they were calling the driver and would call me back… no call back. When food finally arrived it was cold/soggy, and soda was flat.

Their food is good. Having said that, when you wait over an hour for a sub and fries on a Wednesday night there’s something wrong. I called and got the excuse that they were delayed because of the rain which lasted maybe 5 – 10 minutes then stopped. Really? It finally showed up at 9:55. Almost 2 hours later.

The roast beef sandwiches are great and very well portioned but they just can’t get out of their own way in terms of service. Generally takes about a half hour longer than estimated to deliver, food arrives cold and I don’t think they’ve ever got an order right but did make up for it on every occasion. Skip the fries on the side. They’re refried and all grease. Next time I’ll just get my roast beef fix if I happen to be driving by. It’s disappointing because this place has potential if they could only improve upon service and consistency.

Any place with such a fancy new menu board has to take their food seriously and this place does! Pizza is one of the best around and is hand tossed. Not too greasy, cheesy and they have quite a few deals that will save money in your wallet. 2 large Pizzas for around $ 15 – 16. I want to personally rave about their medium sized spinach and feta calzone. My kids devoured as much as they kid and my fiancé, my mother and I polished off the rest. It was literally the best thing I have had in this area in a loooooong time

They give you a lot of food, but what I had did not taste good at all. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with barbecue sauce and lettuce. It was supposed to be a hot sub and it was not very hot at all. The bbq sauce was not good either. Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone.

I order from here all the time. They have ridiculously big calzones. The buffalo chicken calzone is my favorite. Most people eat 1 – 2 slices maximum if its a large calzone. Its like two pizzas on top of each other, stuffed with calzone fillings. They also make a really good pastrami sandwich… but for some reason they are only good when you order them one at a time. When my roommate and I both order the same pastrami sandwich, they just don’t come out as good. Weird, but either way its delicious. I don’t order a wide variety of food either so my rating is somewhat limited… but if you are ordering a calzone, pastrami, or steak and cheese than you can probably expect a good experience.

Updating to give a shout out to their steak tip salad. Steak tips are awesome and the Greek salad that comes with is always fresh and tasty! Their Tuna on an onion roll is pretty decent too!

Haters, be silent. This place is nothing but end of the night goodness. God help anyone who goes here during daylight hours. I’m not sure what horrors you’d experience at say 2:00PM on a Tuesday. Don’t bother — there are plenty of acceptable places along Hancock street for your corporate 2PM food run. Come to brothers after the darkness has sunk in a little, and especially after the booze has worked its way into your body and psyche. I don’t know about the pizza, because who cares about pizza when you can have a sandwich piled high with meat. First, there’s roast beef. When you order a roast beef sandwich, what you get is a bun(onion or otherwise) with a mountain of thin-sliced rare roast beef. It is what an Arby’s sandwich should be but can never be. If you have some kind of glandular problem that is having a negative impact on your judgement, you can order it well done. Whatever you do, certainly get gallons of the tangy delicious bbq sauce, which is nothing at all like bbq sauce. Or you can wise up and get pastrami. Pastrami is the king of meats, and Brothers will teach you why. Who knows how they make it(do they smoke it? do they cure it? wash it in a vat of industrial chemicals? I don’t know or care), but this pastrami is all crispy and fatty and shredded fine and wonderful in its bright pinkess. I enjoyed it on an onion bun with lots of mustard and onions and lettuce. Also, fries. A medium order of fries filled a whole medium-sized bag. It was literally a million fries. You have to get the fries. One time a group of us ordered sandwiches from this place and then took them to the bar and spilled meat all over the place. Another time I went after drinking rye and beer, and I watched the people in here. In that delirious moment, I loved them all. Sometimes daylight is too much and you need the cover of night to make things ok. I get it, and I think we’ve all been there: the not yet out of the closet dykes, the Promethean civil rights lawyer drowning in debt, the college kids who haven’t yet found themselves, the recently divorced middle aged man who lost custody of the kids, the rock n roll wannabes. People who need a drink and a meat sandwich, for Christ’s sake.
