This classy little place is unique in downtown Quincy. Not just for its sleek ambiance, but its prices. You’ll definitely pay Chicago prices here, but the drinks are strong and they have daily specials. It’s a good place to meet people too. If you’re in the area and you want something beyond just the normal bar atmosphere, stop in here.

Great wine bar with lots of specialty beers. Not a large place. Prices are very reasonable & bartenders friendly. Live music Fri & Sat. On west side of Washington Park

This is probably really a 4.5 star review but because this place has high potential I’m rounding up to 5 stars. First, the ambiance is great. I like the layout and décor(see pictures included). There is live music most Saturday nights. The wine selection is pretty good, with most glasses ranging from $ 6 to $ 8. The craft and local beer selection is surprisingly good and includes beer like the Gunslinger(9% alcohol!), 312, Stella Artois, Lagunita, and more for only $ 3.50! I tried the Italian pinot noir and received a heavy pour(yay). It was smooth and well worth the price I paid for it. The cheese plate is a bit pricey(considering the portions and the town) at $ 13, which is what I’d expect in Los Angeles or San Diego. I’d recommend dropping this price to $ 10 to be more reflective of the market here, and I think that would result in increased sales of the cheese plate. This is a great spot that I’m sure we will return to! A solid 4.5 stars with high potential to get to 5 stars. What would get this place to 5+ stars: — offer happy hour specials(maybe rotate a couple of wines by the glass for $ 5 and a beer of the day for $ 2.50) — decrease 6 oz. cheese plate price as is to $ 10 or offer a little more(see below) — offer more food/snack options like a mixed plate(cheese, sausage, fruit like grapes and dried cranberries, and crackers) — could be $ 13 – 15, chocolates(great with wine!), mixed nuts, light sandwiches(even finger size sandwiches), desserts — a chocolate fondue would be great! — offer beers on tap(also opens up possibility of selling beer flights)
