Manet Community Health Center

Give this only 3 stars and that’s being nice. I’ve been going to this Manet for four years never really had issue up until recently. Other than the fact never see the same Doctor constantly seeing new one every appointment, There’s this one nurse there who you have to talk to if need anything faxed or referrals and she is very rude. Took over a week going back and forth just to get a copy of my physical. Than my doctor had referred me to a dermatologist that ended up not taking my insurance. So I called Manet and was told to call insurance company, called them and was told to call back Manet. So once again I had to deal with this nurse who very rudely told me she could refer me but didn’t know if they’d take my insurance. I said «ok I just need a number to call» and all sudden she tells me she can’t give me any numbers and for me to google dermatologist. Wasn’t so much what she said but how she said it, very rude. So I called 9 local dermatologist and was told they either don’t take my insurance or aren’t right now. At least 2 said my primary care should be giving me a second referral. So here I am stil without a new specialist and Manet refuses to help. I am definitely changing my primary care and would recommend anyone looking for primary care to not to go to this Manet. It’s literally right down the street from my house and I rather go somewhere else than deal with people being rude.

They get two stars because Dr Chu is very sweet and attentive and passionate about her job. I’m here right now and overheard staff and front desk saying oh there’s lots of Chinese coming here now. Not in a good way. Also receptionist sound stuckup and unwilling to help book appointments.
Think Ima switch location I don’t tolerate stupidity or ignorance. You get paid when I come here I’m going to drive all my Asian friends away from this racist snobby dgaf attitude from staff. Dr’s like Dr Chu is hard to find I will miss her.
