Pizza Hut

I drove by last week and this Pizza Hut is now closed there is a for lease sign on it so looks like I can’t get pizza here any more.

Been here a few times. It was decent. Too bad it’s gone. But prime real estate-let’s see what’s next.

I’ve gone here a few times.
The prices are bit high compared to Domino’s, but I love stuffed crust pizza.
Last time I went here, I gave my name for pick up and the woman I spoke to’s shift had ended. I waited for 20 minutes before getting mad enough to ask a second time.
Plus — They love loiterers.
Minus — You have to be aggressive in procuring your pizza.

Very poor service and rude staff.
I ordered pizza online at 9:30 p.m., they charged my credit card, i got email confirmation, but I waited for pizza until 1 a.m. pizza didnt come. No calls saying that they cannot deliver. Next day I called, they apologised and gave me credit for next order.
Next order I called, I ordered chicken supreme, they delivered Super Supreme, Buffalo wings with it not tasty at all. When I called, the lady said she is sorry and said she will prepare the correct pizza in ten minutes, I said I am ready to pay for another pizza but I need one. then she called your pizza is ready to be picked up but I didnt say I will come, I asked for delivery which on all occasions I have done. She said sorry we are closed and hanged up the phone.
No care for customers. Will never order or rely on Pizza Hut again.

Pizza Hut has always been my favorite pizza chain! Since I live in quincy, I semi-​regularly visit this location & have never had a problem here. I occasionally went in for the lunch buffet. I think this location has been open since the late 1970s or earlier as I recall going there a few times as a kid. My most recent visit was on 10÷2÷2014 & found out that this long time location will be closing as of january 2015 as their lease is up & the garage owner next door bought it & plans to tear it down. They plan to reopen another smaller strip mall location in the area. This is one of the few & maybe even last? regular pizza hut restaurants with sit down service in massachusetts. They no longer offer the lunch buffet.:(They do much more business in takeout than dine in. Though lately they haven’t been that busy & explains why modern updates to the restaurant haven’t happened. If you like pizza hut & live in the area, hurry in before January!

Someone should just torch this place. It’s beyond pitiful. Hasn’t been update since 1987. Seen two arrests in the parking lot. The staff seems like they were ordered here by a parolee program. Delivery is always late and orders are wrong. Tried picking up my order once. Keyword once. Lesson learned there. Not sure all pizza huts are this bad but this one should be pushed off a cliff. Staff included.

Absolutely the worst pizza place I’ve ever ordered from. I order a well done pizza and it took close to two hours to arrive when the place is 10 minutes from my apartment. Not only did I not get the pizza I ordered but the one I did get was so undercooked the dough was raw in places. Called and complained and the manager was rude and only gave me a credit that was LESS than what I ordered. Next day tried to order wings, which took me 30 minutes just to place the order as the man on the phone was barely paying attention to the phone call. Again didn’t show up for almost and hour and a half and they are disgusting.
DO NOT GO HERE.

I walked into the restaurant for the first (and last) time just after noon on Monday. The fact there was ONE car in the parking lot should have been the first sign this was not the place to be. I was first hit by a musty odor indicative of the fact they perform a minimal amount of cleaning and maintenance in the store. The pizza? salad? bar was covered with a dirty tarp. I stood at the counter for about three minutes and left when nobody came over. I caught a glimpse of a manager for a split second but apparently he has a lot of better things to do than greet or serve customers. Yikes!!!

They were real nice f**\ ups I ordered a pizza paid for it with a card when it came it was the wrong, pizza called an told them they said they were going to send the right one. It never showed the manger blatantly lied on the phone an told me it was going to be here in minutes not once but twice!

Two things I hate about that particular store.
1. Delivery time is ALWAYS too long. (They always have meeting the estimated time the web site gives you. Almost every time I order it takes 50 – 70 minutes for my pizza to be delivered (When the web site is suggesting no more than 40minutes)). Soo if you are really hungry, either order from somewhere else or go pick it up yourself.
2. They always forget my add-​ons. Like extra marinara cups or the icing for my desert. It’s been 3 times already. Dear delivery drivers, please check if you have all you need before you are late with the delivery anyway. Thanks!

Worst. Place. Ever. Whoever works at night on weekends needs to be replaced. ASAP. Was told to rush to the store because he was unwilling to wait and hold our order. It was pouring like crazy. No compassion. I always encounter a rude, miserable, arguably incompetent soul each time I call.

Again, this place is a disaster (even for a franchise). Delivery is a joke. Over an hour plus for our meals and arriving cold. The dispatcher hung up on my wife when she called to ask where the hell our food is.
There are many fine dining establishments in Quincy.
This is not one of them. They attempted to appease me by giving the pizza to me for free. I sent it back to them unopened along with a very confused deliveryman (apparently no one has ever thrown their «apology» back in their faces before)
Overall the place is… sleazy. It embodies the absolute worst elements of the urban setting: slip-​shod, mismanaged and always ready to pass the puck or throw a tantrum.
These people couldn’t even spell «professionalism» let alone practice it. I will miss the stuffed crust pizza, to be sure. But I’ll bake one of the bloody things myself before I give these people one more red penny.
Take a cue, avoid this lot.

This place is not good. It’s the closest pizza place to my house, so I ordered take-​out one night. I called in 35 minutes before they closed for the night, and they said it would be ready in fifteen minutes. Alright… cool.
I showed up 15 minutes later (on the dot), and I thought the place was closed. Every light in the restaurant was turned out. To my surprise the door was unlocked though. I walked in and proceeded to wait 25 minutes for my pizza (which they only started making after I arrived) in a dark restaurant. It felt like I was in a David Lynch movie. What exactly was the point of me calling ahead if you aren’t going to start my pizza until I got there?
The workers then had the self-​righteousness to act like it was my fault that they were working past closing time. I had to watch them like a hawk because i had the distinct feeling that they were going to spit in my food. At least the pizza was hot when I got home (tongue in cheek).
With Schoolhouse Pizza only a mile or so away from here, I will never go back to this Pizza Hut.

This seems to be the Pizza Hut that time forgot, but I like it. The building needs some updating, but the food is fine and the staff spectacular. Everyone there is super friendly and seem to work hard.
It’s the same Pizza Hut pizza you’ll get anywhere, but it’s fine. It’s never busy, so there’s never a wait (at least at the times I have been).

HORRIBLE! I ordered from here tonight for my family, I ordered a large cheese pizza. The guy who took my order was very kind & tried to help me save money as well. When my pizza arrived my sister stated how it was just cheese and bread… I didn’t believe until I tried a slice myself… No sauce what so ever! I’m not picky at all, if someone makes a simple mistake or if the food is not made exactly to my order I can deal! But this was something else. I called them and explained and they sent me another box which was great, until it arrived… The pizza had so much sauce it was spilling in the box! The cheese would not even stay on the pizza! I will NEVER order from them again and if I could give them no stars I would!

Play by Play review.
1. pull in parking lot see a back door drug deal. (sweet)
2. Walk in restaurant (dungeon) employee in booth screaming at his significant other.(So appropriate)
3. See an employee dressed in a Philadelphia Eagles Jersey and hat. (Classy)
4. Cashier absolutely miserable, looked like he wanted to just cry. (job love)
5. Place order, repeat it 4 times. (repetitiveness, I just love it, don’t bother writing it down i know you got it)
6. Wait for food, and watch employees hang up on phone orders. (well-​trained)
7. Customers call back, employee says «Sorry that guy who took your order was busy» «Can you repeat that back to me?» (Way to go Ace)
8. Finally get my food and get to leave the darkest, creepiest, outdated pizza hut I’ve ever seen-(Great Day for AL)
9. Get home to Braintree, Open box, and shockingly Pizza $ucks (lesson learned)

If you are having a craving for pizza hut and this happens to be the closest one I would suggest that you go for delivery and forgo ever having to enter this pizza hut. The place is depressingly dark and outdated inside and smells stale and like they don’t have any exhaust system. If you stay inside for more than a few minutes I am almost positive you will smell like the inside of that place forever.
The wings were decent and pretty spicy and the pizza was not bad, but not too memorable. The staff seemed friendly. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this one…

Outside it looked like a Pizza Hut, inside the décor had all the atmospheric charm of a torture chamber in the bowels of Slovakia. Dark, dingy, everywhere. The salad bar was sparse. The pizza bar, the only thing I was looking forward to based on memories from 10 years ago, was already shut down.
Even the stuffed crust was beat. It was as if they just funneled in a lower grade of cheese than they put on the actual pie… if that is even possible.
The server was excellent… that’s all I got, this joint is the pits.

Junk food pizza, nothing special, not terrible.
We ordered the «Big Italy» pizza because it was cheap, and it was a very thin crust, not crispy and with pretty skimpy toppings. We ordered online, so we were able to do half with my toppings and half with my husband’s favorites. The wait time was 15 min for carryout, and I was surprised based on these other reviews. We did wait about 5 min even though we got there about 20 min after we ordered.
There was an older gentleman haunting the salad bar and watching everything going on in the kitchen. I suspect he is an owner or manager, but it was a little unnerving to have him eyeing everyone like that. The counter service was pleasant. The pizza came on a cardboard tray and was covered with what was basically a paper bag.
The exterior and interior of this location is pretty dingy, has chipping paint and low lighting. I told myself the first time I saw this place that I wouldn’t every eat here, but they exceeded my extremely low expectations. Not sure if I’ll be back, but at least I’m not afraid of it anymore.

If I could give zero stars I would, this place is a complete and utter joke!!!
The first time ordering from here we found out the wait time was 3 plus hours… so we canceled the order.
A week later a man with a thick accent calls and asks how our pizza was. we laugh.
We are then offered a free meal credit which we try to use, again we order and over 2 hours go by.
They can shove their pizza where the sun don’t shine.
I will never ever order from any Pizza Hut, EVER!
