Scott Williams apparently serviced the house before I bought it. Coming from out of state I had/​have no local relationships. I am still out of oil after calling for help 5 days ago! I called every day but no one has called back to take my money.

I found Scott-​Williams ten years ago through the Mass Energy Consumers Alliance. I had just moved in to this apartment and this was the oil company that I was assigned to use through the alliance. The oil overlords I was beholden to at my previous residence (also found through MECA) were a mean spirited lot but my experience with Scott-​Williams was totally different. The best part about Scott– Williams is their budget plan. My landlord tried to pressure me into switching to his oil company (for reasons that remain unclear) and that company wanted me to wait around at home until their truck showed up so I could write the check right there on the spot. If I couldn’t be home they wanted me to just leave a check for the driver. (!!!) And to be clear, my last name is not Rockefeller so there was no reason for them to assume I would have rivers of money flowing from my checking account to miss a day off work or tape a blank check to my front door and walk away.
The people at Scott-​Williams are very personable and knowlegable about their work. I had some problems and when I called they sent someone out right away to have a look and were able to pinpoint the issue and give detailed explanations as to what was going on. They have automatic delivery so they will come out automatically and fill your oil tank according to weather conditions and your level of usage. I don’t have to think about anything or worry about running out of oil and their budget payment plan rocks the block. Seriously folks, I’ve been with some shady shadowy figures before and this company is not one of them.
