I’ve been a regular customer here for the couple of years now but the past few experiences have been less than pleasant. After today, I am on the lookout for a new salon. I was at the salon for almost two hours today, only to get a manicure. During that two hours she left my hands soaking for 15 minutes, paused my manicure twice to service two other customers who came in to get their eyebrows waxed, and had two phone conversations while juggling my manicure. Needless to say, my manicure came out terrible; there is nail polish all over my hands and even asking the manicurist to clean it up, it is still stained all over my fingers. I thought maybe I would be offered a discount seeing as how I was inconvenienced, but that didn’t not happen. I am truly disappointed with the service and quality of my manicure. I feel taken advantage of as a loyal customer and am sorry to say I will not be returning.

I haven’t had a good french manicure and pedicure in a long time. Nancy did a great job, and it came out perfect.

I’m a little disappointed… My third time in a row where my skin was burnt from the hot wax being applied too soon. Especially since one of those times was the day I left for vacation. I’m hoping this wont happen again because I’d like to keep returning…

Nice pedicure, didn’t have an appt abd didn’t have to wait. Place is not fancy, but very clean. Foot massage was very nice. Plenty of parking too. I will be back!

Mediocre pedicure. Bare bones place. Not really worth the $ 20 I paid.

Had a pedicure there today and it was one of the best I’ve had! Only $ 25 and easy to get an appointment. My favorite part was the seaweed salt scrub and the hot towels. The massage was decent too, but never long enough or deep enough in my opinion. The polish looks great and they have a very nice atmosphere for a nail salon. They do a nice job on eye brows too! Thanks so much!

My friend and I stopped in here on a whim to get an eyebrow waxing and I don’t regret it! We didn’t have to wait at all. The brow wax was $ 10, and was relatively painless! I will definitely be back here!

This place is great! I called to make a reservation for 3 pedicures at 6:30 and they closed at 7 – no problem they said they would fit us in. The place was quiet and clean. They worked like artists when it came to painting my toes. It was a little pricey – $ 35, but my out-of-town colleagues and I had a great time. BTW-My colleagues were staying at the Quincy Marriott so that’s why we picked it. If you’re staying there and have a rental car it’s 5 minutes away. Thanks Kristin N.

I think the other review on this page was meant for Bronze Ambition, the tanning salon next door to The Finishing Touch(not owned by the same people)… Anyways…The Finishing Touch Nail Salon is great! Lily, the owner, does facial waxing. She’ll spend up to 30 minutes perfecting your eye brows for as little as 13 dollars. She really is talented. I moved to South Boston, work next to Newbury Street and still come back to Quincy to get my eyebrows done! Taj is a quiet Asian man who knows how to work his hands! Get a mani /pedi from this man and you’ll never want to get out of the massaging chair! They accept credit cards but you have to tip in cash!
