Where else can you get a couple of Guinness’s and a great sandwich for less than $ 20? Sean does a great job in the kitchen always bringing in fresh food. And the bartenders are all very friendly. Just had a Steak dinner for $ 10 and it’s really good.

Stopped in for a pint or 2, I’ve heard a few stories about this place being a bad place to go. It wasn’t a bad place at all. It maybe a dive pub/bar but the crowd & staff were friendly. Got to watch a rugby match while other were watching hockey & baseball on other TV’s. It was a nice mix of different age crowd, but when I was there the place was about ½ full. Will definitely coming back again.

This place is your local hole in the wall where everybody knows your name. Cheap beer cheap shots cheap food. Friendly staff and the occasional obnoxious drunk. But what else do expect from your local watering hole. If your looking for great authrntic irish food well the name will be decieving. Maybe around St. Pattys day. Food is good for pub food. Keeps you from leaving if your hungry and having a good time. But if your destination is a nice dinner don’t expect anything grand. But if you’re looking to grab a quick bite to eat that you don’t want to cook yourself without breaking the bank, well the irish pub has good pizza and great steak tips.

Terrible! My wife and I wanted to find a local hole-in-the-wall Irish Pub that has unique and authentic food. We did a simple Google search and found this place with favorable reviews along with a digital menu. First of all, the menu has been reduced to simple foods that have no Irish identity. They removed(sometime last year due to «kitchen renovations») the dessert menu, so, no bread pudding. Also, no rye bread, no cabbage, no corned beef, no Sheppard’s pie, and no identity of Irish cuisine at all. Just hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos, and similar general diner options served on Styrofoam plates. To top it off they only accept cash and the atm in their pub«always breaks» according to the waitress and wasn’t able to dispense cash. This place isn’t what it may have been in the past and certainly not what previous reviews state. They are obviously having financial issues and their lack of quality food and service is going to be their demise. We have warned you. You will be underwhelmed if you are there for food!

This pub is a friendly and unassuming North Quincy landmark. The drink selection is impressive and reasonably priced. The staff is on their game and accommodating. Great food as well! If ‘low key fun’ is your motto then you shouldn’t pass this place up.

Best irish bar in North Quincy. Decent food and cold beer. What else do you need if you want a low key night?

What kind of bar doesn’t offer food on Monday night? Ridiculous! I entered this place based on the reviews I had read-BIG FCKINGMISTAKE! It smells like piss! No joke! I I ordered a beer and the after finding out they had no food I wanted to pay for the one beer I ordered and then the grandmother bartender tells me oh sorry hun we only take cash… really? There’s a sign with Visa and MasterCard on the door right next to menu that it’s posted and they don’t take cash nor sell food? What a crappy bar! NEVEREVERAGAIN!

This place is a hidden gem, their food is fantastic and the drinks are cheap. Dont be fooled by the outside appearance.

I love this bar, its like the ones my Irish grandfather took me to in the 1970’s…p.s. I was only 7! Its a total dive, but the atmoshere is cozy and the patrons are colorful. Food is way above average. Always get a different price for my usual vodka gimlet… sometimes $ 4, other times $ 7, always strong! Great place to grab a drink while waiting for your Chinese food order at the excellent Quincy Dynasty.

This is a great little bar with decent food. I think it might be the only bar in Massachusetts open at 8 am! I actually went in here around 10:30 am and the bar was crowded! If you;re in the area give it a shot. It looks rough from the outside but it’s a good spot!

I like this place but it definitely would be considered a dive bar. They have a really good pastrami sandwich for cheap and the drafts are cheap too. There are usually a bunch of old guys in there drinking their days away. Its always good for a spirited talk about the sox or any other Boston team. The service has always been good as well. Oh the bar pizza is awesome too and they do cheap deals on game days for the pats and sox i believe.

I know you go to bars to drink but the food here is amazing! It’s a little authentic to Ireland and definitely not your average bar menu, although fried cheese is available =) The bar is fully stocked and is wider than my drunk smile. It’s a small bar right off of Hancock St. on Billings Rd.(near Murphys Twin Shamrocks) and is a great comfortable bar where you always feel welcome.(Don’t let the exterior full you, good drinks, good people and great prices are right behind the green door!!!)
