Great snacks esp the popcorn chicken, always order passion fruit slush with herbal jelly which one of my favorites. My sister is addicted to this drink. I like how they ask you how sweet you want or unsweetened… love hot matcha beverage for the cold weather.

Finally got to try the popcorn chicken! It was really good. I actually enjoy the salt and peper popcorn chicken over the basil one. You get pretty large amount of popcorn chicken in one order! Also tried the calamari which was just okay not too bad. The seasoning overtakes the calamari and the breading is a bit hard. I still have yet to try the boba tea, egg puffs, or other snacks

This is very close to nearby schools and is extremely convenient for me to eat at. The drinks are pricy and so is the food. The staff is welcoming and are very kind. The wifi is kinda slow. However, I highly recommend the Takoyaki and popcorn chicken. For a drink I recommend the Passion Fruit QQ.

Although I constantly come here for the popcorn chicken, I find their drinks to be lacking. The milk tea is tasteless and my friend said it just tasted like milk. The only highlight of any of their drinks is the yellow pudding. If you want a drink, I’d suggest you head over to Yocha across the street. Approximately the same price but much better quality. I’ve heard the New York location of Vivi’s is much better than this one. I do find myself stopping by here on my way home from work or school to pick up some popcorn chicken quite often. I love it because it’s flavorful and crunchy, while the inside isn’t dry. My favorite flavor is garlic(it is pretty salty though. If you don’t like that, try something else) but basil and curry are also decent. The wait time for chicken is pretty long compared to the wait time for drinks. I remember having to wait for ~25 minutes one time… All for $ 5 chicken??? Kind of ridiculous. If you’re in a hurry or you don’t want to wait, I suggest you call in your order and pick it up, rather than sit there for 20 minutes. Tl;dr: Drinks? Try Yocha. Popcorn chicken? A must.

It seems like I go there more and more often nowadays. I usually go at least 4 times a week or none at all. It’s usually spontaneous trips that me and my friends take. The ambience is pretty cool. They have a section where they have stools and a bar-esque bench and a section where you can sit with your friends. I usually order ahead of time and pick it up as a lunch for me and my brother and I won’t have to wait in line. I get the salt and pepper chicken and it’s honestly the greatest thing ever. The way that it’s cooked is crispy on the outside but not dry on the inside compared to other fried chicken. My go to drink is the passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly. It’s a fruity drink and the lychee jelly is pretty fun to chew on. The texture is different from the regular bobas. However, if I’m feeling too sick of the passion fruit, I get the Japanese green tea slush/Japanese milk green tea or just the drink with ice depending on my mood. Should give this place a try!

I’m a big fan of bubble milk tea. I usually go to Chinatown to get it. Today I happened to park near Vivi and notice this gem! I tried their milk tea and love it. Very authentic tea with great tea taste and bouncy bubbles. I can’t believe I never notice this place on Hancock street. I don’t need to go to Chinatown for milk tea any more!

I should probably just stop going to Vivi since I’m never satisfied with their food, drinks, or service, but it’s convenient in some situations. Pros: they are open earlier than other places in North Quincy, they have good popcorn chicken, they have a variety of food and drinks so it’s a good place to bring a group as there’s sure to be something to please everyone. Cons: their drinks are often very confused-feeling and bland(too much sugar and milk). Their food is mediocre. Their egg puffs are unevenly cooked and bland. It takes them forever to make things, even just drinks. The service is very terse and often scattered/distracted. They have a credit card minimum. Their seating is super uncomfortable and the music is sometimes very loud. They don’t really serve much that you can’t get elsewhere in Quincy for cheaper and of better quality, especially down by Wollaston.

Their milk teas are just ok, I like their egg puff to satisfy my egg puff cravings when I can’t make it to Chinatown. Their macaroons are $ 4 with tax each! And it is a joke! It’s a mini version for babies! My 3 year old loved it and said,” mama look! Baby cookies! So cute!” Yea it’s that puny. So for 2 drinks 1 egg puff 1 macaroon total was $ 20 and some change. I don’t mind paying for good quality food but my husband thought the tea was gross he took and sip and asked if I want it? I’m like hell no I didn’t even finish mine!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Place was not packed(only a few other tables were occupied). Gave this place a 3 stars mostly for their popcorn chicken. The rest we ordered were just ok(passion fruit bubble drink and the tiramisu drink were the typical drinks you would have gotten at other bubble tea places. It was alright. As for the eggpuffs — way overpriced. Over $ 3 for a regular eggpuffs. When we got our eggpuffs order, felt it was just lukewarm and nothing special about it. I rather get it at the one in chinatown). We would come back for the popcorn chicken(we had the pepper salt flavor. So tasty and crispy. There are other flavors to chose from. I would need to try the others next time!)

Vivi’s has been my go to bubble tea place for the past few weeks. Compared to the first opening, they have improved so much more. The quality is thorough and the taste of the teas is bomb. They seemingly have a varied menu of drinks but its just a few slight adjustments in flavor variation. If you are coming here in the daytime, even though there is no one you are definitely going to wait, but the night crew is awesome! They’re much more efficient and very friendly when serving you. I swear this place is my hangover cure as well as my coffee boost when i’m too lazy to venture to my nearest coffee shot. All the food options are also worth a try!

I was reading the bottom reviews and seeing all the people that said this place is the best, it clearly means you never left the front door of your house or you’ve never had bubble tea before. First off BUBBLETEA– Their Boba is awful, soggy and not chewy at 2 pm afternoon on a Friday, thats terrible, imagine a slow Monday afternoon, place would taste like poop. Second– Takes about 10 mins to make me my order of 2 bubble tea drinks and egg puffs Third– Egg puffs were made then, probably taking the most time and it was soggy, not crispy on the edges, and just bland. BLAND Overall, Im not coming back, prices are heavy and not good quality, I would not recommend unless they change. Go someone else if you want better

Lowering my rating after a couple of more visits. The wait is just ridiculous. They even put up a sign saying the wait for food and drinks may take long just because this has been such an issue. Even when I am the only person waiting, it takes 10+ minutes for my drink. The drinks taste really diluted and fake, so what is the hold up? The food is usually done faster than the drinks. Alright, onto the food. The egg puffs are rather inconsistent, but they are crispy. They are sometimes too burnt. And while I like the popcorn chicken, I know they are covered in MSG because I feel so unhealthy after. Instant regret and internal promises to go to the gym. Even though I pass by this place so much, I will avoid it unless I am desperate.

This place is a godsend. You know a place is good when you crave it constantly. I heard from a friend that this is a chain that originated from NYC. I’m an avid boba lover so I was anxious to find out what all the hype was about. I ordered a matcha japanese green tea with boba and my boyfriend and I shared garlic popcorn chicken. I’m telling you, this place is definitely a competitor to all boba places in Boston and Quincy. I swear by this place and it’s my favorite boba place. Plus it has snacks such as popcorn chicken AND ramen and more! What’s not to love! The pearls are so chewy and sweet and the milk tea isn’t too sweet. It’s the perfect blend. They also have board games like Uno and playing cards. Ajoint to them is a Metro CPS vendor for phones. The food is fresh. The only thing I don’t like is that they have a $ 9 card minimum. Regardless, I’m craving this place all the way from Sydney. Counting down the months till I’m reunited with this place :3

Vivi Bubble Tea Café is a new spot that offers food and bubble tea where you can adjust sugar levels and ice. Don’t think i’ve seen another place that does that in Quincy. The café is pretty spacious and there seems to be a lot of variety. I only tried the HK egg puffs and was not impressed. They have the right equipment and the right batter, but they don’t know how to cook it. The puffs were cooked unevenly. The perfect HK egg puff should be crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside… I hear the popcorn chicken is good though.

Came here recently just to give this place another chance. I got the 3Q Milk Tea, no change in sugar level, and less ice. To my surprise, it tasted awesome! Maybe less sugar would be great too, but it definitely improved! Friend got the Passion Fruit QQ and it was very pungent, I would get less sugar for their non milk teas. We also got takoyaki and the spicy popcorn chicken, still VERY delicious. Would’ve given 5 Stars, but some people who work here are very rude and seemed like they hated their lives like jeez. Overall, I’m SO happy they improved their milk teas! Will be coming back to try other milk teas.

Across the street from Yocha? The audacity… *gasp* Admittedly, there’s a difference between the two places in terms of décor and menu. Vivi isn’t exactly exuding class. The Metro PCS kiosk makes it feel like I’m in some Chinese food court. However, take the décor away, and you’ll find something that’s pretty good and legitimate. I went for the lychee slush, which was rather refreshing but maybe too sweet. I’ll go for some tea next time. I like the customization of sugar and ice. The days of tolerating iced coffee with way too much ice and not enough coffee are gone. The selection that bumps this to a 4 is the HK egg puff. I’ve had them in the motherland before and they do a pretty legit job here. The texture is rather authentic, with the outside crispy and inside dense enough to have substance. Prices aren’t too bad for items here. There’s some wait for drinks and desserts, so expect to spend some time on admiring the décor. But I’d rather be here than Yocha.

It’s cool that this place offers different drinks and a variety of dessert and snack/lunch options. Drinks could use work, food is better. I’d give this place 2.5. Staff are super friendly! Customization in sugar and ice levels in your boba/tea drinks is nice! I never get boba anymore, just the milk teas themselves so I can’t comment on whether or not the boba is fresh/has a good texture. I’ve had the taro milk tea and the classic milk tea. Both were slightly chalky — they should work on their powder/milk ratios. A friend of mine had a fruit smoothie here and claimed to like it better than the one from YoCha. Tried 3 different macarons(imported from Macaron Café in NYC). Not consistently made, but the flavors were awesome. My Earl Grey macaron was completely stale, hard and crunchy — they should be careful here. If the macarons aren’t selling fast enough they probably shouldn’t sell or they should have a better system for getting rid of stale macarons! The other two tasted great(lavender honey and pistachio). One was more delicate and the other was super chewy and thick. Bag of popcorn chicken that you eat with skewers: you can mix and match flavors — a bonus! Inexpensive, too(under $ 5). Taste and flavor was good, but it was too greasy and some of the cuts weren’t very meaty(fatty). I know nongreasy with a crispy crunchy texture can be achieved(Limoo on Comm Ave does a great job with this). This place is sort of hard to find because there’s really no signage! There’s only maybe a standalone board thing outside denoting where this café is. If you drive by, you won’t notice this unless you’re driving at night and see colorful lights. Restroom is well kept and clean. Plenty of tables for groups and bar seating available, too. This place has a ton of other lunch items and I’m curious about the HK egg puffs. They differentiate by having items that other places on the block don’t have. OK place for food and dessert but go to YoCha at the end of the corner for drinks.

This place is super cute! I am thrilled they opened up in Quincy because this is very similar to Tea Do and Chatime and they don’t have neither of those bubble tea shops in Quincy. They have Yocha and B Café, but they don’t have drinks like yogurt green tea and other fruity drinks. They also offer a lot of different kinds of small eats. I ordered their HK egg puffs and garlic popcorn chicken. Both were really good!!! These egg puffs are more expensive and smaller than the one you get in Chinatown, but it’s okay. I can’t wait to try the different flavors they offer(such as chocolate and red bean). Overall, I think this place is above average. There is nothing bad about this place because the drinks are good, but there is nothing special about it, hence I didn’t give this place 5 stars. The staff is really friendly and nice. The décor is also really cute and really cartoon-y haha. It’s spacious and is definitely a good hang out place. I will definitely be back!

First impression wasn’t everything. Its definitely worth a second try, I’ve been here multiple times after and its gotten much better. Still good: fresh ingredients, fresh quality, unique niche of personalizable products, consistent quality Still bad: staff is still slow but they’re very friendly and patient– I’ll wait :). Parking is a struggle on a main street. Still pricey but it kind of makes sense because they make it so personalized. Come back? Of course! I’m addicted now! To their quality service and Starbucks like service for bubble tea :) My favorites: egg puff plain, basil popcorn chicken, tiramisu slush, taro slush, kumquat tea with herbal jelly

Move on over JP Fuji Group(YoCha and B Café) — Vivi Bubble Tea came storming in from New York and is ready to give you a run for your money. This location can easily be missed if it weren’t for the Chinese floral arrangements lining the storefront. Although Vivi Bubble Tea doesn’t have an obvious sign(yet!), it is located in the same building as a cell-phone company called Wing’s Communication. Street parking is readily available and we were met inside with the rush of middle school & high school kids. The décor had pink accents, a modern feel, and cute skull logos on everything. They offer a good variety of beverages and food items which made me eager to want to buy and try EVERYTHING. Hong Kong style egg puffs? Takoyaki and 5 different flavors of popcorn chicken(Spicy, Basil, Curry, Salt & Pepper, Garlic)? How about macarons imported from Macaron Café in New York? Yes yes yes! We ended up going a little overboard and tried: Peach Ice Jelly Tea($ 4.75 for a Large, contains real fruit pulp) 3Q Milk Tea($ 4.75 for a Large, contains Herbal Jelly, Boba, Pudding) Two orders of popcorn chicken, one curry and one spicy($ 4.95 per order) Takoyaki(4 pcs for $ 4, 6pc for $ 5) Macarons(passion fruit and rose lychee flavor $ 3 each) The peach ice jelly tea was the better of the two drinks, but I would be happy getting either one any day. Although I thought the takoyaki could have used a bit more sauce, there were a good amount of bonito flakes, the perfect amount of filling(not too doughy), and good flavor. I liked the curry flavor of popcorn chicken better, as the spicy flavor had a lingering heat to it(I cant take spicy very well!). Because there was a massive rush of people and Vivi Bubble Tea just opened, they were slow to turn out their food items, causing us to wait about 20 – 30 minutes. After a little time, I’m eager to go back and see the improvements. Pretty dang sure Vivi will do really really well in this Quincy location. I will be back for more! PS: $ 10 minimum for credit card use!
